Great value in a key location
8.7
The Bishop Lei International hotel is located in the Mid-Levels section of Hong Kong, situated between Central and the Peak. It's on the famous Robinson Road where many affluent Hong Kongese live, less than a block from the series of escalators connecting the Mid-Levels to Central. Lan Kwai Fong and Soho -– along with their many restaurants and vibrant night life -- can easily be reached by walk from the hotel.
The hotel itself is a high-rise building that offers great view of the surrounding skyline. I reserved a harbor view suite and the view over Central was truly gorgeous, especially at night. The first suite that we were given had a great layout but was unfortunately on the smoking floor. The hotel kindly relocated us to another floor; however, the layout of the second suite was less striking.
Being in Hong Kong, the rooms are pretty tight by most other standards. Having said this, we enjoyed the amenities of our cozy suite. Free wifi was available in the room. I believe there is a complimentary fitness center in the hotel though we did not have time to make use of it. Breakfast was not included in the rate but we were more than happy to find other options in the neighborhood. As far as service is concerned, we were satisfied with the courteous and professional staff at this hotel.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this hotel which offered a great value on Hong Kong Island.

Good location
Good location for mid-levels sightseeing and nightlife
5.7
Comforatble but fairly small rooms with great views overlooking park and interesting buildings. Quite a nice pool which was failrly quiet late afternoon and early evenings - great, after a long day out.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Use shuttle bus to get down to ferry services over to Kowloon.

Great location but small rooms.
Close to sites and shops. Modern, clean rooms.
8.7
Hotel is great for tourists who want to get out to see the sites; many attractions, shops restaurants and bars in easy walking distance. Room is small but well maintained and appointed. Due to small room size I recommend to hotel management to install hooks for hanging clothes/items. Service was generally ok however some staff could have been more informative. Hotel restaurant and pool facilities basic but enjoyable. Recommend hotel management construct/provide shaded area for pool. Bar service would also improve atmosphere of pool.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
BIG BUS stops not too far from hotel and is excellent to gain an appreciation of Hong Kong districts and attraction. Recommend 2 day pass if you have time.

everythign great just that the rooms could be a bit bigger, they could make it easier to get cabs for the guests (should have option to have the concierge call in advance for a cab), and the elevators were extremely slow and old.

small rooms but good value hotel. location is great. take the mid level escalator to soho and LKF to get dining and bars and clubs within walking distance. Also near the botanical garden and zoo. not for hanging out in the rooms as they are very small.
