Small rooms and not so great location
has exercise room, chapel and swimming pool
5.3
the hotel was quite located outside the center.
the rooms are quite small too for the standard double. but if you're just there to relax and have time to explore to walk around, the hotel is quite safe to stay.

i was disappointed to get a harbour view suite on the 3rd floor and it was a smoking floor when i had requested for non-smoking.

Although Bishop Lei International Hotel offers free shuttle bus service, the frequency is not high enough. You have to wait at least 30 mins before the next one. Furthermore, there are quite limited transport to go up to the mid-level areas. Travellers may opt to go up by the mid-level escalator but the journey is too long and it will take at least 20 mins from Central MTR. That aside, the hotel is clean and reasonably big enough compared to other hotel rooms of similar value. The plus point is the free Wifi.
Nightlife Tip:
It is very near SOHO

Well lcoated for Central rooms small but good.
Good Location by the escalator, good service
7.7
we enjoyed our stay here and found it convenient to central hong kong near to midlevels escalator. the rooms are small but the reception, house keeping and shuttle service is very good. would stay here again if the price was comparative although i think that the price may be a little high.
Restaurant Tip:
Vist the the inexpensive dumpling shops on Wellington street near the escalator.

Clean hotel, location not great for holliday
7.7
This hotel is clean and the service is good. Rooms are small, but have everything you need. The location is quiet, close to Soho and the escalators, but it is a good walk to the train station. Overall good value for money.

NIce hotel in a great location
9
rooms are small. even though they are meant for couples, they are really only big enough for one person if you go by western standard. i'm a solo traveler, which makes no difference. rooms are clean and the service is prompt. location is in the mid level which is above the historic heart of h.k. it is also close to soho and lan kwai fong, h.k.'s party scene. due to the mid level escalator, traveling up and down the hills to central is not a problem. if you do not want to use the escalator, there is a shuttle from the hotel to central several times a day. i would definitely book this hotel again for my next stay in h.k.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
This location is close to Central, Man Mo Temple, Dr. Sun Yat-sen historic walk, Dr. Sun Yat-sen Museum, Luk Yu Teahouse, and other attractions such as the Peak tram.

small room, but fairly convenient location
7.3
stayed with my wife. room is small, hardly space to walk, but am ok since it is not very expensive. close to escalator that brings you to central. hot water in shower wasn't working properly and alternated between too hot and too cold. free wifi is a plus.

it is a great location, close to peak tram and soho restaurants. easy access to escalators and elevated walkways to get down to victoria harbour. staff are professional and service is good. stayed here on lonely planet recommendation and would recommend to others.

The 'feel' of the hotel was good. Staff spoke perfect English. The chapel was a nice place to pray.staff are extremely friendly and warm and efficient. IT has got all the essential facilities. The location of the hotel was good too. Its near the night life area and walkable distance (quite far) to the central MTR station. There is a bus stop directly outside the hotel that takes us to MTR. Nice view from our hotel window. I will definately go back to stay at Bishop Lei again if I ever visit Hong Kong.

A business hotel with good access
5
This hotel isn't perfect but it is good enough for a short business trip.
Pick-up service is available from the Hong Kong Station. (you will be taking a train from the airport)
By using escalators near the hotel, you can pretty much go anywhere in Central area easily.
Victoria Peak is actually close as well and you can take a bus stopping right in front of the hotel. (closest stop might be harder to spot but there are many buses going to Admiralty and you can walk from there to the Victoria Peak entrace)
