This hotel is a bit pricey if we consider the incredibly small size of the room where you cannot go around the bed if you have the bags on the floor. The location is not so close to the city center but they offer free shuttle bus during the day unfortunately only until 7 p.m. during the evening. Swimming pool view to the city center is definitely the strongest point of the hotel.
Shuttle bus to the city center and metro.
Rooms too small.
Need renovation.

The hotel is well located and it also provide free shuttle bus service to the near by office in the Central distict. I stay a basic twin room - it is clean and has adequate space for two adults. The hotel has a very nice swimming pool - a rare facility by Asian standard. Overall, we have a very plesant stay and definite stay in this hotel when we visit Hong Kong again next time. Andrew
Location - very locaed in the Mid level of Central district. Nice swimming pool.

This hotel was better than I had expected. In spite of the fact that it is operated by the Catholic diocese, it is a bona-fide hotel (not a hostel or an abbey.) The room was small, but more than adequate; good hot shower; excellent location where you get the feel of living in the city rather than being a tourist. Riding the mid-level escalators is interesting, but if you don't want to do that, there is a free shuttle to various locations in the city.
Friendly staff, excellent location near area with a variety of restaurants, free shuttle to metro station & express train to airport
Elevators are slow, very small lobby -- however, they are in the process of adding space
- Restaurant Tip : I loved Elgin Street just a short way down the mid-levels escalotors -- a wide variety of restaurants mostly open for dinner only.
Good stay at mid-level

If you wish to go down to central, I recommend 7am to 10am. Because mid-level escalaor is moving down at that time. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel. But using the escalator is much fun to see HK.
Excellent value for money and a great location

We were pleasantly surprised by the great value for money of this hotel considering its location.
- Restaurant Tip : The Phoenix Bar and Restauraunt by the top of the escalators has an excellent atmosphere and great food.

- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Right in the middle of one of the most interesting parts of Hong Kong. Hard to beat the location, but clearly $150 doesn't buy all that much for the money.
