Small, budget but nice hotel
Quiet area but yet near good food places (the japanese food near the hotel was great).
Bus stop right next to hotel for airport bus.
7.3
Small but cozy hotel, with that cost, you can't ask for more. It has everything essential and the area was nice to walk around. The food around the area was great too. But do not recommend if you are first time in Hong Kong and don't know how to go around the place. The KCR (now mtr) station - hong hum is around 20 minutes walk away. Easy to go to shenzhen for a day of good massage and spa.

Good Value!
Good clean rooms, internet connection, position good.
8.7
I booked this room off the internet, thinking the pictures on the net were what I was going to get. Upon checking in I was confronted with the smallest room I have ever seen in my life!!! It JUST fit a double bed with a little room on one side. Upon checking with reception, showing them the print out that I had with me on what I thought I was getting, was told that that was the DELUXE ROOM. For a mere $100.00 HK extra per night, I took the upgrade which was fabulous. Plenty of room in this one, with a sofa etc. Make sure if you are staying more than one night to make sure you get the DELUXE room, I cannot stress highly enough :-)
Service was great, I had internet connection problems which they took time to fix. The MTR is a good 10 minute walk away. If you can navigate the bus system, there are plenty in the area that can take you almost anywhere you want to go [make sure you get a good map, it has all the bus routes on it], there is also a bus that can take you to the station if your feet are weary and you can't be bothered with the walk.
The area is ok, pleny around in terms of restaurants, shops etc. It is not in the thick of the trendy areas, but I opted to stay here, as it is still relatively close to everything by public transport, and being on a budget, opted for better accomodation. You need to catch transport around HK/Kowloon anyway, so it was no big deal. I would highly recommend the Bridal Tea House [Deluxe Room] for anyone on a budget, I would definitely stay there again.
Travel tip:
Get yourself a good map. They have all the bus routes on them. The buses can be just as good to get around on as the MTR.

The worst hotel ever visited
If you need to go to the toilet, at least it very close to your bed
2.7
our stay at the Bridal Tea House is very unpleasant. The room was very small and untidy, smelly, dusty and appears as though the cleaner hasn't been there for months. There were barely enough room to walk around let alone any room for our luggage. The bathroom was very small and there were not enough lighting. we were required to shower in relative darkness as there was only 1 light. The beds were very uncomfortable and mattress was forever moving. the size of the mattress was less then a three quarter single bed. It was the most uncomfortable place we have ever stayed at. The reception area was very small and smells of sewerage. We definitely would NOT stay at this hotel again let alone recommend it to anyone.

i luv this hotel : )
worth paying --> good location (close to MTR) + good restaurants in walking distance + nice staffs + good bath shower + has internet connection in room (WIFI and lan cable available)+ has a beautiful heater

room is not so big, but still o.k. compared to other hotels at the same rate (maybe because of how they make use of the space and decorate the room) For the location, it takes around 15-20 mins by walk to the MTR which is also o.k. Along the way to the MTR, we can try some local foods which are so tasty ^__^ The hotel staffs are nice and helpful - My mom said she would stay in this hotel again for our next visit to HK : )
Restaurant Tip:
very good restaurant along the way to the MTR (close to 7-ELEVEn)
to buy a bottle of water, you better not go to 7-ELEVEn as the price is normally higher than the local shops nearby the hotel.

You can do better, A LOT better!
Free soap in the bathroom. Elevator works.
2.7
This is the smallest hotel room I've stayed in EVER, in any city - and I stayed in a DOUBLE room. Completely indifferent staff didn't help matters, either. Also, Hung Hom station is very inconvenient, as it requires a walk of some 15 minutes or more to get to other stations in other more popular parts of Hong Kong. I will NEVER even consider staying there again.

Good Inn
Clean and new furnishings, good washroom establishment , overvalue breakfast, good service.
7.3
The hotel is 15 minutes walking away from hung hom railway station. My room is a family room, 2+1 style, on level eleven , it is quite good for my family to stay. Bed sheet is white, the whole environment is modern and clean. It seems the room is new furnished, beautiful window curtain with small flower design, like Korean style. what i want to introduce is the good breakfast buffet and it only costs 22 HK dollars.

Bridal Tea Hse Dec 08
Very good price for Hong Kong. Location very good if you want to be near the Mainland Railway at Hung Hom.

Staff are not at all interested in guest service and have a severe lacking in hospitality training.
Travel tip:
Ensure you inspect the room before accepting to stay in it.
