Not far from Macau ferry, good hospitality

Small room, can't walk to subway but take taxi only 5 Min to it.

This hotel's not far from the Macau Ferry if you take the cotai ferry. The location,it's hard to find for the first time and can't walk to subway only take taxi. Moreover there're a lot of good & cheap chinese foods around there. The room's very small, but so lovely & clean.

Hotel Feature Tip : They've lots of good Chinese restaurants around this hotel.

Near to shopping centres and food stalls

have to remind them to be friendly

I had not been to HK but heard many views of it. So decided to go trekking with friends and subsequently extended my stay and book hotel within my budget.Though the unit is small but its cleanliness is most encouraging and its location is an advantage. Will definitely friends to stay to try it.

-the flat screen TV displayed good channels at a high resolution -the location is very convenient if you are traveling by ship to anywhere else (e.g. Macau) -local eateries/restaurants are relatively cheap -the staff are friendly, though their English are limited

-the most cramped room I have ever stayed in -the washroom and shower doors were broken -must walk for 5-10 minutes and travel by tram to reach the nearest subway station

At first I had high hopes for this hotel, but as soon as you reach the makeshift lobby you will begin to grasp how minimalistic and tight for space this hotel is. The rooms are extremely small, so you can barely fit any luggage in. As well, the washroom/shower doors are similar to plastic panels, so after some use it is understandable they lose their functionality. However, if you are only using the hotel for some rest at night or a short trip, then it can be considered a good deal. The friendliness of the staff compensates for the lacking facilities.

Clean room. Washroom was highlight - great pressure for stand up shower. Air Conditioner cooled room well.

For non-Cantonese speakers, the front desk clerks can not speak english nor understand your requests. You need to try patiently to get your requests understood. Washroom design was compact, my toilet was positioned such that I could not sit straight since my legs stretched into the cabinet under the faucet. I sat at a 45 degree angle. Vent in the bedroom let in all noise of the adjacent intersection. At 6am, the noise of heavy motors will certainly wake anyone up. I stuffed a towel into the vent to soundproof the room. Deposit issue - make sure you get the photocopy/documentation of your deposit slip on day 1. My front desk clerk did not provide me one and I needed to twist his arm for 10 minutes until I got one.

Though my cons outweigh the pros, I admit that flying solo in Hong Kong worked for me. I only used the room mainly to shower, sleep, and store purchases. None of the staff ever came into my room unless I had the "Come in my room to change the linens/towels" tag hung on my doorknob. Be cautious with the staff to ensure you get paperwork especially when it comes to money. Overall, if you need a place to stay and you see yourself using the room as I did, then after all my points, I'd suggest Bridal Tea House. The main reason is the price was cheap and the location was great.

Very Clean Safe area Easy access to Airport and Kowloon by bus

Walls were thin Out of tourist areas

For the price I thought this hotel was very reasonable. It's away from any of the main tourist areas, but that also means it felt safe and there are cheaper eating places around. (was a good haven for getting over jet lag) The hotel doesn't have much tourist info, so it's better to be prepared before you get there. The only problem I had was the walls were very thin so I kept waking up when there was a bang or anything in the next room.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take the 970 bus from Water street to Nathan rd for shopping and access to the harbour. A12 bus for airport.

It was good for a single traveller as it was a very small room, good if you were out all day and needed somewhere to sleep. Not a lot of storage space for large bags such as suitcases and takes up a fair bit on the floor.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Reception was good at pointing out on a map the places I wanted to go and how far away they were.

Staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. There was some delay when I arrived as they thought the room had been cleaned but it had not.

Travel tip : It was conveniently located for the airport bus which is much cheaper than the MTR

Overall very happy with our stay, would recommend to others visting Hong Kong. Seemed great for the price.

Restaurant Tip : Amy's Restaurant is located about a few blocks heading west on the main road. Its a great place for lunch or dinner, and has an English menu.

Good if comfort or length of stay is not really an issue. On the cheap side, but a little more gets you a lot more in my opinion. So maybe the scale and the price aren't quite aligned. Then again, it's on the island side.

AGODA had the best prices. The hotel is small, stay quiet.

It is common to all hotels in Hong Kong, narrow room, it is difficult to expand the suitcase.

Tea House is a chain of hotels and restaurants are adjacent. Front of the hotel business at the accounting counter of the restaurant. Water bath to a shower room is not enough to have good cleaning, narrow room.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Close to midnight, open until 2 in the nearby restaurant, to eat enough.. Subway station on the ring and the Macau Ferry Terminal, 5 minutes by tram, you can go by taxi 20 HKD.

It is reasonable for solo travelers or young travelers.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hong Kong is less interesting than Singapore, Tokyo, or Seoul for sightseeing travelers.
