But the hotel is very small
This is hotel is clean and one of good thing is very near to mtr and also the night market (miu kai). Is also have a lot of nice food to eat nearby the hotel. I like the hotel concept and the design of the room quite nice although it is small.

convenient location, room cleanliness
tiny room with tiny toilet which hardly fit in a big size traveller.
Enjoy your stay at bridal tea house Yau Ma Tei. Even though the room is really small (for big size traveller, is a no-no for this hotel), but it own its reputation by located at a very good and convenient place as well as its cleanliness, facility (all room featured aircon, private toilet, TV), especially it very reasonable price.
High recommended!
Restaurant Tip : There's plenty of nice eating out place nearby. Right beside the hotel there's a place serving claypot rice, quite nice. But if you wish to get beer while having your dinner there you have to buy it at opposite grocery shop, no surcharge at all.
plus there's a HK style restaurant named 'Yee Shun Milk Company' located on the main road Nathan Road. is a must try for their dessert such as Stewed Milk/double boiled Milk as hongkies called it (most recommended), Ginger Boiled Milk, Milk shake and other dessert which serving either hot or cold.

easy access to everywhere, plenty of food choices available, safe and secure even walking alone at night
Very tiny room. Hot & cold shower doesn't function, either it's too hot or too cold, can never get to the right temperature. Room's air-conditional doesn't work properly... There are various of conditions in various rooms, have to request to change room, but another problem strike
This is an excellent hotel if they maintain the rooms. Although the room is small, but if you bring small luggage, it shouldn't be any problem storing them. But i truly DON'T recommend to European esp. if you have big frame. The room & toilet has limited space to walk. We've booked 2 rooms at the 5-storey building and we were placed on the 5th floor. We were shocked when we discovered 1 of the room is so small that only allowed 1 person to enter at a time, and max. 2 person can stand inside the room and the toilet can only fit 1 person in the shower and 1 at the sink! As for the other room (next door) it is slightly bigger but the air-conditioner doesn't work properly (the shutter stays shut) but we still stayed for 1 night (hot sleepless night) til the next day we request to have a room changed. The reception is very helpful when we report the problem and get the room changed immediately after they verified the problem. We were happy to have changed to another room, but the hot & cold shower doesn't work. We bore with it since it's hot days outside and cold shower doesn't bother us that much. Checking out is fuzz free.
Shopping Tip : Go shopping at Lady's Street Market instead of Temple Market, just within 10~15 mins. of walking distance from the hotel. On Nathan Road, cross to the opposite road and turn left and keep walking til you are on Dundas Street, the Lady's Market is around there. Plenty of sportswear and food choices available. We had our stinky Tofu right at the Dundas juction. Just below the hotel, the left, you will see the Fishball Noodles shop, the fishball and beef tender noodles are quite good. There's a beef noodles shop at the corner, their fishball noodles or any soup noodles are great too. Next to the beef noodles, do try out their dim sum i esp. like to recommend beef tripe it's really tender and delicious! As you walk down further, there's a dessert shop, must try their Mango Pudding!

Superb location and near to Yau Ma Tei MTR station. Affordable price if you don't mind the size of the room.
Extremely small. Even the toilet & shower room are extremely small. Can hardly fit you if you're over sized. Hardly any space to move around in the room after you place your luggage.
I don't mind staying in this hotel if I'm traveling alone due to the space constraint. Personally, it is value for money. For the amount that I've paid, I get a good location and clean room.
The only problem is the size of the room. When I first read about the reviews made on this hotel by other travelers, most of them complained on how small the rooms are. At that moment, I was saying to myself, isn't most of the rooms in HK are small? Till I arrived in the room, then only I know that IT IS REALLY SMALL. Probably the smallest room I've ever stayed in.
Don't stay here if you have Claustrophobia. Otherwise, it is great!
Shopping Tip : Night market at Yau Ma Tei and loads of food around that street.

Convenient, short walking distance to MRT and bus stop.
Some maintenance need to be carry out on ceiling leakage.
A value for money for traveler who wanna experience down to earth life in the city by traveling via moderate life style shopping and not for luxurious stay.
Walking distance to the nearest MRT station and most convenient for local delight and necessities.
The stay is definitely value for money and the hotel is clean though it may look quite disappointed on the first glance.

Very good price
Good location, about 5 minutes walking to Yau Ma Tei train station
A very reasonable place to stay, considering you only need a place to sleep and spend most of your time out and about.
Location wise, fantastic. The hotel is only about 5 minutes walking to Yau Ma Tei train station. Also Kowloon, Tsim Tsa Tsui and Mongkok are all within walking distance.
Very recommendable for everyone who just need a place to sleep, as the room is only fit to do just that. The room is so small that it took almost half of the available space when you want to open your luggage. The good side with that is when you packing up, easier for you to see what's left scattering in the room.
All in all, a good place to stay. Next time I visit Hong Kong, will most definitely stay with them again.
Restaurant Tip : If you have a strong stomach, try the noddle shop just in front of the hotel. Looked and smelled very delicious. I didn't have time to try it out though.

Location is good, as near to MTR and as the center of the city, walking distance to Mongkok,...
Efficiency, no action was taken after complaint regarding the door of the bathroom was broken.
Overall this is a good choice for those back packers or those do not have much budget for the trip.
Make sure you bring your own toiletries, as were not provided !

the selling point of this hotel are, near the mtr station, minutes away from the ladies night market.
Hotel room is so small, double size bed is only for single person. no cable TV. shower is on top of the toilet. hard to take a bath. NO HOT WATER. bed foam is hard.
I saw the pictures of the rooms of this hotel at our local airline website where i got the ticket from manila to hk. the pictures looks impressive for the price so i booked after booking a flight to hk. all i have to say is the room is soooo... small for its price. if this hotel room wasnt paid beforehand ill be leaving the hotel and look for a more decent hotel. the first night of stay at this hotel i noticed that theres no hot water. i called the front desk complaining about the hot water and they said that i should leave the water running for atleast 10 mins for the hot water to come out. after 25 mins of waiting no hot water came out. no choice but to take a bath using the cold water. when i was about to sleep i opened the 15 inch lcd tv hanging on the ceiling and to see that there was no cable tv. there was only 3 local chinese channels on the screen.
these experience of mine will truly be a lesson for me and will share this to all of my friends who loves to travel to hong kong. remind them to never book at this hotel ever. instead of being relaxed inside they will be stressed out during their whole stay.
Shopping Tip : even though this hotel is near the street market. never stay at this hotel for you will be stressed out during your stay. Remember NO HOT WATER. NO CABLE TV. BED FOAM IS STIFF.

This is very simple hotel, it just provide those basic feature like bed, air-cond, bath room with heather. And the good point is they have provide 2 mineral waters everyday plus chinese tea pack. But the room is too small until you no space to open your luggage. The only place to open the luggage is on your bed. So you can imagine how small is the room. And it is a nice location if you like shopping at night market. The next street is Temple market and Ladies market also not far away. It is "walkable" location.
Shopping Tip : Do not bargain the price if you do not want to buy else the sales girl will score you.

acceptable price, good location, friendly staff.
We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. Initially, we booked a double-bed room, but because of it didn't stated at the booking form, the hotel arrange us to stay in a twin-beds room. However, the staff kind enough to let us change our room at the second night. The room is very small, as well the bed. The size of the bed for the double-bed room is like the size of super single bed. There is complimentary waters & drinks in the room. The room is clean & comfortable. The location is great. Just 2 minutes walk to MTR station.

Hotel location is good and with lot of varieties of local food stall and restaurant within walking distance. Lot of activities during evening with many local stall setting up for the nights market sale. As for the hotel room, it's just too small to fit in for a family with children except for couple or single traveler. Front office staff is not friendly and sometime is rude at the way they answer you back when we need to ask question. Not forgetting, MTR is just around the corner with easy connection to most of the places and less hassle.
Restaurant Tip : There is a stall just right across the hotel entrance where they sell good noodles during the evening. For those who are staying at this hotel must try it.

close access to station and general shopping and market regions. reasonably clean
the room i had was tiny, the shower even tinier. it stank a bit of sewage, but that cleared at night. slow lift
if you're travelling alone, it's not too bad. the room was small but it was enough for me to sleep and get clean in, so it served its purpose. it was also easy access to yau ma tai station and you could walk to most of the markets and other shopping areas, so it was really handy. they provided a place for me to store my luggage safetly for free when i wondered around on my last day. the main issues were the slight smell of sewage when i first arrived (but that seemed to clear up later) and the fact that the cleaners took over the lift during cleaning hours, meaning we had to wait a good half hour for the lift to arrive (i actually took the stairs to my room on the seventh floor but others had to wait round because they were higher up). very simple room, maybe not worth the price?
Restaurant Tip : local cafe down the road had a nice local breakfast

Good location, very near to MRT, Room is clean.
Room is extremely small, difficult to move around and no space to put luggage. Not worth to pay the price per night for such kind of hotel facilities. Staff is cold and not helpful. You can easily find another much proper hotel by paying slightly extra.
Will definitely not going back for such kind of hotel again.
