Very clean hotel

The hotel is s short, scenic walk to Shun Wan. The hotel is on the corner of Hollywood Road so it is easy to find. Hollywood Road is interesting itself with many antique shops and many small pubs. It is a trendy location without being too loud. The room was extremely clean and quiet. There was always a fresh supply of coffee and tea for the evenings.

quite a distance from the sheung wan MTR
the rooms are new Hollywood theme, but there is still renovation going on in the lower floors

on the way to mtr from the hotel via posession street and bonham st, there are many dried food wholesale shops and local eateries , bakeries and sheung wan multi level market. on Hollywood itself, there are many antique shops and a few western cafes. the tram also starts in sheung wan next to western market. i would prefer the hotel not to be too far from the MTR cos coming back at night, it could be a long walk if you miss the way, and we ended up catching a taxi back.

We enjoyed our stay at Hollywood and would recommend it to others. The hotel is in a covenient location on Hollywood Road, just a short walk to supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, antique shops.It is a little out of the central district which is good as it is a little quieter. The staff were friendly, attentive and very polite, however the rooms are very small and we were not able to turn off the noisy air conditioner. The bed and pillows were good. There was no ironong board.The lifts were often on the blink and the server for the WiFi was down a few times duting our 4 day stay. Overall a good stay and I would consider staying again because of value for money and location.
Travel tip:
Very close to antique shops and curio market stalls.

Good basic hotel in excellent location. Friendly staff and very helpful. Lifts and internet were on the blink during our stay and staff were very aplogetic. The rooms are very small and the decor in our rooms was a liitle tired. However comfortable beds and pillows and a quiet hotel meant that we had good sleep. Overall a good experience and a good location for the price.

The rooms were just the size we expected for this location, adequate, revamped and stylish. Our twin 13 year olds loved it and the decor! We would certainly stay again if in that part of town.
Restaurant Tip:
This is a perfect for walking to all the restaurants and getting the flavour of HK's night life. We were able to find quick snacks not far from the hotel.

Unique and affordable Hotel in Hong Kong Island.

Three or four nights it will be fun to be in This hotel. It is near Lan Kai Fong where is a lot of entertainment , food , pub and fun. You can walk to the place that sell antique items but it is not cheap but it is nice to look at . You can go down to look at the dry sea food which they are Tsui Sha Shui where are so many shop selling things.But here there are small shop which Hong Kong people stay and this is they daily life. you can take a tram which is unique only Hong Kong Island has.I like this place.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The first room we got had a faulty air con, but the reception was quick to give us an upgrade. room was well equipped. Beds were comfortable. In general, a very clean and well-maintained hotel.
Nightlife Tip:
Quite a distance from the MTR station, so you may want to consider your safety when walking back at night.

WE were mis-informed that this was a 4 star hotel.
When we were allocated our rooms, we were thoroughly disappointed and wanted to leave the hotel, but since payment was taken for the full period, we knew this would not be possible. Upon speaking to the reception they transferred us to another 2 rooms that were recently refurbished. These were acceptable. as we stayed for only 2 nights and spent most of the time out of the Hotel. Rooms are small.
