you can hear the elevator ring every time it arrives on your floor even when you are in the room, it's very annoying. staff is just average. besides that it's a great hotel. good location and good prices on agoda

The lobby should be on the first floor.But overall, i like the design.
Shopping Tip:
Looking from the website, I overexpected this hotel. I thought this hotel has a very nice design and views by looking at the picture. However, it doesn't mean that it is different from the picture. It the same room and hotel in the picture. It just that the photographer took the pictures of the hotel looks real nice. In conclusion, this hotel is valuable.

Great location, but small room

the hotel is modern and service is excellent. the room was quite small, but clean and had a great view of the happy valley racecourse.
butterfly on morrison is in an excellent location, close to the causeway bay mtr and times square. many restaurants in the area.

Love the hotel

My husband seem to have a little problem with some of the designs of the room. there's no outlet in the bathroom so he cannot charge his razor. He also complained about the closet but I don't remember what the problem was. i personally like the hotel a lot because it's quite and very clean and nice. It's very close to everything at CWB.

Overall, comforting stay.
Value for Money.
Staff performance isn't fantastic- only neutral.
Cleanliness is remarkable- Clean spot.
Great view facing the road unlike common hotels.
Conveniently located- only 8 mins walk to MTR.
Shower facilities- Small and no bath tubs- Disappointing.
Highly reccomended for couples/ singles/ long-stays.

Nice modern boutique hotel

Rooms are clean & staff are friendly. Location is good as it's only 5 mins walk from Times Square. Modern interal design for the room & very comfortable. If you are looking for a hotel at Hong Kong Island, this is pretty good.
There's also a wet market nearby where you can buy fresh fruits.

Given the great range of hotels in Hkg it took us some time to finally opt for the Butterfly on Morrison. What made us decide was the apparently interesting shape of the rooms, matched with a good position away from the touristy / shop areas. At arrival - rather late due to the flight - we were surprised to have one of the central rooms, which was very small, and definitely not like what was prospected on the website description. Once I complained I was offered to move in a side room (those with windows on the two sides) the following morning. We eventually did, on the 25th floor, and it was a totally different story. So I recommend you ask for a corner room!
The room is really nice and welcoming, rather big for Hkg standards, and the view - although on surrounding buildings, the happy valley racecourse and the mountain behind - really pleasant.
we spent a total of three nights and aside from the room issue we were quite happy.
Don't expect much, however, from the reception services, as there's definitely room for improvement.
Also, no breakfast, but there's plenty of great places to have breakfast just outside.
And no wi-fi in rooms, only in the lobby. However there is a cable for internet hookup if you have a notebook.
Overall, a great place if you like no-frills and enjoy doing things on your own!

Very satisfied. Good customer service and clean rooms. Only a bit small in terms of room size, but location is very good near central of causeway bay. iPhone dock is very convenient only problem is wifi is not available in room only available in lobby.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Travel by foot to times square is only 5-10 mins. Restaurants are everywhere surrounding hotel as well as convenient stores, laundry shops are just around the corner too.
