Perfect location boutique hotel
unbelievable location near mtr and great restaurants
9.3
butterfly on victoria has a location that is second to none: a few short minutes walk from tin hau mtr and near at least 25 restaurants serving very good thai, japanese, korean, taiwanese, local hk food that were all excellent. trams and buses to all parts of hk island are also right outside the doorstep. the rooms themselves were modern, but the room we were in was quite small, and soundproof wasn't great but it was clean. but overall definitely due to location and how modern it was it's definitely a hotel we recommend.

I like the style that Buttferfly presents to its customers. The decoration is modern, the hotel is clean, and staffs are quite efficient. I was promoted three times for executive rooms without paying premium. A good option for single, good friends, or married couple.

Hotel is NOT situated in Causeway Bay
Neighborhood, staffs, and close to the subway
7.3
The hotel is on the edge of Causeway Bay (to be exact, it is at Fortress Hill). It is separated by a huge park (Victoria Park) between Causeway Bay and the hotel. However, it is still conveniently located right on top of the Fortress Hill subway station. Fortress Hill is a residential neighborhood with lots of restaurants opens up at night. The hotel room is small, it is expected in HK. Staffs are friendly.

Nice hotel, friendly staff but small room
Very close to MTR station and 24 hrs. restaurants
8.7
The staff are friendly as you can ask from them about the information you may need in transportation luggage deposit, or where to go. The room we stayed was OK. The safe is provided, and other basic items such such as hairdryer and other things meet the minimum needs during our stay. However, the room was quite small and the bed was very small that it was totally unable to fit both of us on bed with comfy while sleeping. I had to sleep on the floor. Nonetheless, the service is good and very convenient for travellers who just want to come for town trekking purpose and rent a room just for sleep at night.
Restaurant Tip:
There is a 24hrs McDonald just around the corder behind the hotel and plenty of local chinese restaurants that also open 24 hrs. just one or two blocks far from the hotel.

Stayed in the standard room, but condition is way better than standard. Room size is really for one person only though. Free WIFI is good.

Good price and value for money

The hotel is new and clean, and there are a lot of restaurants nearby. Helpers are polite and professional. Will be great if a more speedy check in.
