NIce hotel, a little dated decor

nice hotel, rooms larger than hk standard in my opinion. a little dated on the decor, but maybe they are going for that vibe. location was good, quick walk to mid-level escalators and all kinds of dining/nightlife stems from there.
normally this hotel was out of my price range (company reimburse), but was national holiday in china and rates were low, figured i'd give it a shot. not disappointed.

Great hotel - one of HK's finest secret locations

my 2nd stay in this particular hotel and loved it just the same as my first stay. conveniently located and very close (same street in fact) to a traditional chinese dim sum place called "lien heung law". rooms are charmingly decorated. do note that they are refurbishing next to the hotel which is a nuisance during the day but not at night.

Butterfly is priced fairly in its range. The larger rooms are quite comfortable and spacious and the free internet access in each room is a real bonus.
entry level rooms are too small however and can be a bit dark. Lack of breakfast also has to be considered although there are fruit stalls immediately outside the hotel.
Staff are friendly and make a point to engage with customers especially on return trips.

It is a very good location for business as it is near the business Centre Cenrtral District. However, the vicinityif the hotel is not that goos as there are many vegetable stalls and hawker stalls around. It is wet when the vegetables market closes around 7 pm.

Liked this hotel a lot. Hotel is well maintained, modern, and very clean. Construction going directly outside the hotel was a bit of a drag, but harder to hear in the rooms. Rooms were great decor along with the bathroom although they were extremely small. Probably average by Hong Kong standards. Best part about this hotel is it's location. Everything you want to do is either right outside the hotel, or within a 10 minute walk, including the star ferry boats, Lan Kwai Fong area, Peak Tram, botanical gardens, etc. Would stay again.

Decent price in great position

stayed here for two nights in early march. right near the wet markets in a real authentic part of hong kong. hollywood road and some great nightlife also in walking distance.
decent sized room but would've loved a bath in addition to the shower. obviously no room service or gym etc but all in all very reasonable.

this is my first time staying in the hotel. the rooms were good sized with a queen bed. comes with free wifi which is very useful. the staff were helpful and professional.
