Great location, rooms seemed small and dirty

The hotel was in a great location walking distance to IFC, and just a street away from the night life area. We were able to use our stroller for the most part, but did have to lift it up and down some short (6-8) steps along the way to get to IFC. Rooms were small, but a decent size for Hong Kong. Carpets were old and stained. I didn't want to walk on them bare-footed but they provided slippers. Was kind of grossed-out that my toddler was walking around on it though. Service was hit or miss depending on the representative. Some were super helpful and nice, others kind of seemed to just wave us off. We could hear our neighbors in the rooms next door pretty easily.

This is the first time I had stayed at a Butterfly brand hotel and I was impressed with the service. The staff was efficient and business like. I stayed on the the 8th floor and found it to be very quiet. There were other people on the floor, but I never heard them. The Ipod charger alarm clock was great because I had forgotten my charger. I stayed in a deluxe room and the bathroom was tiny. The hotel was good but I felt expensive for what you got.

the room was small but i guess that's more to do with hk than the hotel. rooms were clean and comfortable. definitely 4 star quality.
hotel is well located in the central area with everything within a short walk. the mid-levels escalators are just 2 blocks away. hong kong mtr station is a 8-10 min walk. lan kwai fung and soho are accessible via the escalator and minutes away. malls, massage place, eating place, you name it.
not having breakfast in the hotel was a bummer but there are two very good options nearby:
- the flying pan (via escalator, 5 mins away)
- cafe de coral (short 6-7 min walk)

Very friendly staff. Hotel is neat and clean and extremely well located (albeit with somewhat difficult access given that it is on a small street in the middle of the Central hilly section). Comfortable yet small rooms, great to use as a base to explore HK island shopping and nightlife. Hotel lacks Wi-Fi, gym, restaurants etc though, so do not expect the hotel to be a destination on its own. Would stay there again for short personal trips, great value for money.

First time staying there with family and I would definitely stay here again. Very good location. It is close to mid level escalator, 15 min. walk to Central airport express station. Room was small (we are in HK) but perfect. Bed was just right. Staff was friendly. Free internet. Highly recommended for biz travellers and tourist.
