Stay in a clean box!

Check in and out very smooth. Room clean but no cabinets or any facility to put your clothes ( you have to keep them in suitcase under bed) . Bathroom with shower? Over rated! if you want to squeeze between sink and toilet, have one. Room had no window so beware, make sure air condition is working (first room they gave me it was out of order), and you are ok in a small space. Wall at the end of bed, that's basically attached to bathroom had water leak marks all over. If you intend to stay at this place, check room first before moving in. My advise, if you can spare a few more dollars find something else but for a backpacker it's a great clean place. I have to say it was an experience, but never again.

We had booked 3 single rooms (like photo shows with one single bed bathroom in front of bed and corridor), when we reached we was told due to they have a big group coming and offer us upgrade to 6pax room(actually is forced to change) , and i was asking whether will change our room the next day coz is really inconvenience to share room, he then show me the single room -the small bed stick with bathroom partition glass! the whole room you can touch both wall with open arms! and he asked me whether I still want to change tmr?!
and for the 6 pax upgraded room, the bathroom is blurry glass (almost transparet!), we forced to go out from room when someone wants to use it!
At last , we just stay one night there although we had booked and paid 3 nights!no next time!

I don't feel safe staying in California Hotel due to the compact arrangement of hotel's rooms. It is quite risky to stay because you have no access to windows. Any breakout of fire you might not even know.
