The location is great, Airport bus stop right in front of the building, 1-5 minutes walk to almost all of the restaurants I wanna try. 10 minutes walk to Victoria Bay. And more than 10 shopping mall around.
Room is really tiny, but is reasonable for the price at this location. Beware its very crowd inside the building, need to line up for the elevator all the time.

Alot of travellers are pretty hard on any of the hotels inside Chungking mansion -yes, it does look like an insane asylum, but that gives it most of its charm. I never felt in danger like some people have said -if anybody screwed with you the cops would pound their ass before they knew what hit them -trust me no one is going to mess with you. They will try to sell you srds, copy watches and a room to sleep (even thought you already have one).
Take it all in stride. The room is a shoebox essentially but it is clean, has a bed and a prvate washroom/shower. These type washrooms suck after your first shower- as you can't even brush your teeth without soaking your feet after the first shower. Oh well, you get over it. I stayed in the D or E tower which had less traffic waiting for the elevators. Being in A or B I think would blow as you'll spend half your day waiting to go up or down the elevators.
The fact that this room doesn't have any windows is a bonus if you hate being woken up early by the rising sun. I guess for some, they could find it claustrophobic -in which case i recommend just parking your gear inside and let it rip outside in the city. Kamel is a great guy who was very helpful. The hotel is in an awesome location -within seconds or minutes of everything you need. If you're looking for something cheap -don't mind a small room with some interesting characters in the building then you can do alot worse than this place
