Convinient location hotel
Near Star Ferry; night life; shopping.

Although the room is quite small, it is cleaned everyday. Room is very tidy.
some tips: 1.Choose hotel in block E or D . There is a small alley that lead you directly to these blocks, no need to go around.
2. From airport, catch bus A21 to go to Chungking mansion. Stop number 14 - middle Nathan Road.Around 1 hour to get there.
3. Must buy an octopus card.
4. Opposite with Chung King Mansion is Tsim Tsa Tsui station. Get there to take the line Tung Chung to go to Disney land and Big Buddha.

The Canadian Hostel is a value for money hotel.
Location is tourist friendly. Accesible to MTR and Bus Stations. There's a convenience store nearby.

Very Small but clean room and bathroom.

At the beginning the indian hotel owner tried to give us a very small 5 bed room at different floor, instead of our booking for 4 bed and 1 bed rooms. We refused and then he gave us 4 bedroom at Canadian hostel and one bedroom at same building different block and floor. Since we came to room only for sleep it was manageable.
The rooms and bathrooms were very small. difficult even to sit inside the bathroom. When four of us were inside the room no one could even move. At night the queue for the elevator was quite long. The people in this transport the trash in same elevator which several hotels use for guests.
Very close to MRT station and easy access to all important locations.

This time I was not as satisfied as last time, the room was still clean and the Wi-Fi worked fast, but the staff was a bit stressed when I arrived so not as kind as last time, and the room might have been a bit old, the toilet was an old model with the toilet tank under the ceiling. It was ok, there are worse but also better hostels in the building.

Hot water, air conditioner and wifi is OK.

When I checked in, I waited for quite long, about 20 minutes before the person in charge ( an Indian ) brought me to another floor which is operated by Korea Hostel.I was too tired and need a nap badly, so I didn't ask him why not put me in Canadian Hostel, but in Korea Hostel for me.When I check out, I saw the person in charge just pack my room tower into a bag for washing, I supposed the bedsheet etc is not changed after I used. So this hostel is not hygiene, not sincere and so is not recommended. I will not stay in hotel again.

Awful Hostel and Location!

It was very disappointing. The price we paid for the room is not commensurate to what we got. The Canadian Hostel is on the 7th floor and only has 7 rooms. Going to the 7th floor from the Chungking Mansions ground floor is scary. There are people from all walks of life. The place stinks! Never again at chunking Mansion let alone at this Canadian Hostel! Better, remove it from your list of hostels.
