the location of the hotel is good. Though a little bit old, it's comfortable, clean, tidy and with good service.

location is the number one thing and we loved the location
Cancellation rules. We dont like 100% cancellation charges,no where in the world anyone charge 100% when you cancell your registration about 5 days before. I think this is not right and a big ripoff.
I like the location and friendly staff. Breakfast is very nice, good for family and couple but we dont like the cancellation fee rules.staff is very friendly and like the night bazaar that is very near from the hotel. We will definetly go back to this hotel and will recommend to our family and friends.

Very close to Yaumatei station, lots of restaurant just across the hotel, and 7-11 just at the corner
Old and smelly rooms. But my most disappointment is that the staffs are very rude and not helpful.
Over all, i will recommend this hotel for those business shoppers, but not to those travel with family and children. The staff is unwilling to help you with the luggage and very rude when asked about anything. Door is closed during midnite, and you have to call the guard to open it for you which i find quite disturbing because the guard keep staring at you, maybe to make you feel guilty.. i dont know
Restaurant Tip : there is a nice restaurant just across the hotel

Reasonable price with ok breakfast
Walking distance to shopping area in Mongkok
Old
Not much information from front office
A little bit hard to find a hotel as 3 taxi do not know location with just the address... They had to look into their book to find where Cliff road is. It really took times checking in the hotel as they need everyone's passport (I travelled with 13 people) and signature... Bellboy didn't took us to our rooms, we had to carry our luggages by ourselves. The elevator is also very small. The room is also quite old but it is ok comparing to price. This hotel is in walking distance to Mongkok shopping area, very convenience.

There is no question that the location is the best feature of this hotel. It is very accessible to bus and subway stations. Despite being near the main Nathan Road, you would hardly hear the traffic or bothered by the noise of people moving around.
The staff were very helpful and had good command of English. It is so accessible to almost anything you would wish - restaurant or eating places, bus or subway stations, shops, market, fruit stands. A Catholic church for church goers is merely around 12-15 minutes walk. Breakfast was very filling.
From the international hotel, you need take the airport express train or taxi which are expensive. Same in going home. You only take the bus - A21- which stops a few steps from the hotel. If you take this bus at the right time, it would be like you have taken a tourist coach and made a city tour for a song.
The breakfast menu should provide more variety. It may help the hotel to be more likeable if they should repaint there facade most especially an adjacent building is so immaculately painted. The contrast is so distinct.
We had a pleasant stay in this hotel. One of the more enjoyable hotels we stayed for the price it offers. The staff were very courteous and helpful. For someone who is looking for a place to stay where you can easily move around Kowloon and Hongkong this is the hotel. The fame night market along Temple street is near that you need not worry if you feel you had enough walking especially if you are carrying more than what your hands can handle. You can return to the hotel easily without worrying on how to get a taxi.

This hotel is very well located just off Nathan Rd, the staff are very friendly and helpful. We booked tours through the front desk and were very pleased with the service. The restaurant served delicious food and the breakfasts were more than adequate. The room was very clean and everything worked as it should and the free internet was handy.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Easy to walk to all ferries and trains, markets are within walking distance

The view outside - at the 16th floor, trees and green look fresh every morning even the hottest day of the month.
The room is quite old and curtain looks very antique. Air condition seems using for hundred year, very old fashion.
Hotel is located nearby MTR and easy to walk to Mong Kok or Jordan areas. Hotel's people very helpful and friendly as well. Once I complaint to the smell of blanket, they put it as piority to change the new one which is most highlight for this experience trip.
Shopping Tip : In front of hotel, one of Japanese restaurant which has long quer waiting for even lunch or dinner from noon to midnight. It is a famous restuarant in town, just keep trying to taste.

close proximity to Nathan road --- less than 100 mtrs from Nathan road, to Yau Ma Tei MTR station, Ladies Market, and Night Market, friendly staff, good breakfast, clean rooms
building is old, the airconditioning unit in our room is still noisy even if you already chose the "Super Quiet" tab, toilet bowl should be repaired since it does not flush out the water properly
I would still recommend this hotel to my family and friends despite of its weaknesses since every popular landmark in the city is a few steps away from it. I really love its proximity to the places i've mentioned above plus the very affordable rate they offer. :)
Restaurant Tip : Try dining at Wa-Tei Japanese Restaurant which is located along Nathan road. This resto serves good and affordable food and is just 2-3 stalls/stores away from Yau Ma Tei station (EXIT D). By the way, you can get a rate of HK$7.7 for every US dollar you have from the money changer that is just across the Yau Ma Tei station (EXIT D). It is located right beside a store called BEA. :)

Convenient location, very near the MTR and few steps away from the main road. Ladies and night market are just walking distance.
It would be more comfortable for a family (with infant) to be booked on a double room rather than the twin room being offered by internet booking.
The hotel is conveniently located near the MTR and few steps away from the main road. Dining is not a problem since there are lots of fastfood chains and restaurants (mostly serving Japanese foods) near the hotel. The hotel rooms are okay, just that, if you're staying with infant it would be best to book on double room which may not be available thru online booking. Breakfast is okay.

Reasonably sized rooms, rather good location, friendly and helpful receptionists, efficient and good helpers to make up the room, free internet access
The outlook/facade of hotel is terrible, the rooms are along one long narrow corridor, the blanket is coarse, sheets are rough and thin, toiletries sparse, soap and shampoo in one dispenser, hotel bathrub stained yellow and brown,
You get what you pay for in this case. Cheap price for a good location would get you digs where the blankets and bedsheets are thin and rough, rooms are ugly in outlook, hotel doors are opened with an old fashioned key (only one key), doors are thin, bath tub is stained yellow and brown, bare essentials are provided (pls bring ur own toiletries), windows are sealed (can't be opened) so air in room is dank, really not a place to be long-term. That being said, the receptionists are helpful, fluent in English, friendly and the chambermaids are efficient and detailed in making up the room. The location is not bad - exit Yau Ma Tei station from Exit C, cross the road, you will see Mannings and make the first left turn after Mannings to go up a small slope to the hotel. Hotel is next to Salvation Army.
Hotel Feature Tip : Bring your own toiletries (including shampoo and body wash).

Good location, efficient and friendly staff
breakfast included
We stayed at this hotel twice this summer and were happy with what it offered. Don't expect anything fancy though; this hotel is very basic, a bit dated, but clean. If you are using the hotel just for sleeping, you will be happy here. The breakfast is good. Location right off Nathan road is great.

Good location, room quite big and clean.
The hotel is old but rooms quite big and well cleaning. Front desk staffs were very courtesy and provide good travelling information for us. Many restaurants nearby. Near to MTR. Also Near to Temple streat. Taking MTR to Tong choi Streat is very convinience. Hotel also selling MTR & Ocean Park ticket.
Restaurant Tip : Ming Xing restaurant near hotel provide good Tim Sum and reasonable price.

Very near to Yau Ma Tei MRT station <5mins walk. Has 7-11 at nearest junction. 15mins walk to famous Ladies St, etc.
No kettle to boil water, need to call reception each time to have a flask of hot water.
Room is old but adequate. Staffs are friendly. Breakfast provided which is adequate. Plenty of eateries/coffee shops outside to savour the local food.
Shopping Tip : There's a shop selling wife's biscuit (lou poh peng), delivered fresh daily from Yuen Long, very nice and good as gifts. Exiting the hotel, turn right at Nathan Rd and walk straight for ~10mins on opposite road. The shop's name is Hang Heung.

Rooms and bathrooms are very clean to 4 star standards. Bed linen, bath towels are better than some 4 star hotels. Very close to MTR station and markets.
Exterior of hotel needs improvement, looks like an unkept apartment block. A bit pricey for a three star hotel.
I was having second thoughts after I booked this hotel as my experience of previous 3 star hotels in other Asian countries were not good at all. The exterior of the hotel looks more like a block of student flats. But my fears were gone once I stepped foot inside the room. Everything was to a 4 star standard. The beds were very comfortable, bed linen soft and towels new and white. Only problem is air-condition is a bit noisy. There was a safe deposit box, a fridge and a thermos flask with warm water. The location is the most convenient, just walk out and everything is there. Staff are not overly friendly but helpful enough. Breakfast simple fare but decent.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Don't miss the flower market and the bird market. Bargaining is a must at the jade market, check out the different prices first at the different stalls, a same piece of jade can cost HK6 or HK80 !
