Nice stay. Good value.
Close to mongkok (within walking distance). Good view. Can't ask for more with that price.

Although the hotel needs renovation, most equipments inside were in good condition. The facilities were all there. Nice and comfortable bedding. The hotel locates in a silent district and that's good for sleeping. The hotel room is bigger than a standard room of other hotels you can find in the same district. Nice staff. The hotel is just 10 minutes walk from Mongkok East MTR station.

Good location. Close enough if you like walking to walk down to the harbour and catch the Star Ferry across to Hong Kong Island. To get there from the airport you catch the airport express train to Kowloon station and taxi from there, the taxi costs between 70 and 40hk$ depending on traffic. We walked everywhere but if you like taking trains or don't like walking it takes about 10mins to get the closest metro station (other reviews said it was really far but we thought it was a short walk). We had a twin room and pushed the beds together. It was clean and the bathroom was adequate. Breakfast is included but leaves something to be desired. You could choose bacon and eggs or chinese noodles or continental which consisted of bread or toast, and tea or coffee, and orange juice or apple juice. We opted for the bacon and eggs (you get two eggs, two pieces of bacon and two pieces of toast - not a lot but sufficient).

Ok for a max 2 night stay
I stayed at tis hotel and reviewed it already, so you can see my other review. This hotel is good, clean, and the reception staff are great. Close to flower market area.... Not too close to street market shopping and walking around Hong Kong

This hotel is a great stopover for 2 days max. The place is clean and friendly. The views from the upper floors are great of the New Territory. I would give this an ok, but for a very short term because it is too far from many tourist interests. However, you do get a great breakfast, western/american style unfortunately, it is not enough for a westerner/american.

I stayed here for one night after coming from Shanghai and it wasn't easy to find. The room was small and dirty, the queen size bed is just two twins pushed together. The TV was old, heater wasn't working, blankets were not nice. Would not stay here again.

OK hotel
This hotel had great customer service from the people who worked at the reception and maids. The room was very clean. You are very close to the Flower market area. The rooms had nice views of the New Territories area.

I would stay at this hotel for a max of a few days. it is just a place to rest on your way to elsewhere in china, but not to have it as a base for sightseeing in Hong Kong. Great breakfast, and great customer service from the reception staff.
Shopping Tip:
If you want to shop for flowers and plants, this is the hotel for you. Really close to the flower market area.

one night stay in Caritas Lodge
larger room comparing to samilar level hotels, very friendly and supportive staffs.
6.7
Stayed for 1 night during Christmas eve, the hotel is located by the main avenue of prince Edward, bit far away from the MTR, but the hotel room is rather big comparing to similar level hotel, very friendly hotel staff & supportive.
Shopping Tip:
Grand Century plaza, a major shopping complex in Monkok is just 5 minutes walk from the hotel on the prince Edward avenue
