the rooms were tiny. location is not so great, it is just between two subway stations so you need to take a taxi or walk one kilometer for the sub. hotel in general is ok.

had a great stay in charterhouse. we were received and assisted immediatelyfrom the moment we got out of our bus. check in did not even take 5 minutes cause everything was prepared. rooms though not big has all the amenities you need and were working perfectly. food in the gazebo restaurant was good. hotel staff were very helpful and corteous. restaurants and shopping were all within walking distance. will definitely be back
Restaurant Tip:
try the restaurants in bowrington market. less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

"Great location but small rooms"
The only reason to choose here is the location of Causeway Bay

The staff here are very nice.
Since the room was so small, so you won't like to stay at the hotel, then you will try to arrange more activities to go out.

Booked the hotel for only 1 night as we didn't know what area to stay in Hong Kong as this was my first travel to HK. Changed to another location for the next 4 nights, but the hotel was absolute up to standards. Actually fully booked for the next couple of days due to some convention in the nearby convention centre.

the service is generally good. staff tries their best in each of their duties. rooms are a little bit small but still acceptable. one point, the bellboy gave an irritating stern face and refuses to leave the room after helping with our luggage. it was still a pleasant stay with rather good location near to causeway bay mtr station.

the location is great... but the beds have bed bugs... very awful. i was bitten many times i thought i have allergies but when i check the bed there are alot of bugs. will not come back here again unless they renovate.
Shopping Tip:
just a few minutes walk to times square.

nicely located half way between causeway bay and wanchai, the charterhouse causeway bay provides easy access to one of the most exciting and comprehensive shopping/dining districts in hong kong. wifi is available, but my room was located at the corner, so there was reception only by the door.. lived there for two nights and i have to say they could have maintained the room better - e.g. replace toiletries with new ones and tidy up the bed more properly after the first night. the tv is very small although most channels are available.
