good business hotel, convenient location to mtr, walking distance to causeway bay and shopping. for clubbing, hotel is within walking distance to wanchai. hotel is clean and friendly, though small. good breakfast included in room rate if you can negotiate. good sports bar in basement, happy hour every evening.

Close to nightlife in Wanchai

Great Location but small room

I have been staying in another the same grated hotel in the same area for several times. I want to try this hotel out with the same price range and the same type of room. When I got in to my room, I was so dispointed since the bed is just a sigle bed, not ia the full size bed like the hotel I used to stay. The room is very cold and no one told you there is no heat system in the room as I truned AC to 35 degree to try to get some heat. Finally the second day, I ask the room make up lady to show me how to turn the heat on, she said no heat,but she kindly put a small heat fan to my room and give me a blanket.
The saff at the information desk, most of them are not frendly eventhough, them smile to you when you first time get in the door, but when you ask questions, they are not very nice except only one older staff, he is very nice all the time.

my reservation was identified electronically, which is a convenience with other hotels or agencies.the internet was indeed free as advertised. the bed was very small albeit clean. the water closet was defective but the shower water pressure was ample and hot.
Travel tip:
This room is defintley for single travelers only.

the service at the hotel was excellent, with staff coming to every beck and call. the food was decent, with room service always arriving punctually within 20 minutes of orders. housekeeping was prompt and efficient in cleaning up the room. however, the hotel is quite old and stands to see some renovations and facelifts being done.
Hotel Feature Tip:
There is free internet usage but you have to locate the wire in the desk drawer.

Hotel has potential not tapped

when i got dropped off by the taxi, i thought "oh no, this hotel is in a busy street" but luckily i had a room on the top floor - 20th - and facing the mountain (partial) so it was really very nice!
the hotel has seen its days. it's very old and i kept thinking if it spends some money on renovation, it will really have a potential to be classed as a great hotel!

Old Hotel but Good Service

I was there for Hong Kong World Boutique and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful when it came to asking fordirections and information as to how to reach various destinations in Hong Kong Island. The room had a tiny TV but the beds were comfortable, there was hot water in the bath and room service was fast and efficient. The complimentary internet connection was also very helpful for my business needs.

Charming Old European style hotel,

This is in the heart of shopping district - between Wanchai and Shaukiwan - 5 min from Time Square. Extremely convenient. The transport Bus, tram and subway are all nearby.
The hotel has an old time European feel to it. I was upgraded upon arrival. The room was quite nice with good view. Charming. The facilities are adequate.
Because of this, I find the hotel a bit overpriced - especially for a short one or 2 night stay...

Location is great. But facilities are old.

This hotel has a great location & service. Beacuse of its age, some facilities in the room are old and the toilet flushing got out of work in the last day. In general, this hotel is still economical for backpackers and business traveler.

nice and clen hotel in good position excelent for shopping sightseeinng. business near happy valey horse racing inaccesible distance to the mtrcauasvey bay mtr station but to size small rooms and wery cold in inside of the room, the te heating air condition don't work the bar and the restaurant are o.k
