Even though it is not a luxury hotel, I did not miss anything. Bad thing was that breakfast was not included. (80 HKD)

I found Hotel Bonaparte by Rhombus (two-minute walk from Charterhouse Hotel) and Ramanda Hong Kong Hotel (10-15 minutes by taxi) a much better deal -- more comfortable and less expensive.

A good places is temple street market. For people who do not like Chinese food it is difficult to get western food except for Mcdonalds and Burger King. Even the hotel buffets were geared towards Chinese food.
Restaurant Tip:
Do try the egg tart at a bakery on lindhurst terrace. The ex governor Chris Patten ate there. They don't taste like egg but kind of an almond flavour.
