The hotel is good enough if you mostly spend your time out and come to the hotel to have a shower and a sleep. It could not be suitable for a family with young children.

You get what you pay for - I was in a single room, which was absolutely tiny so it would be interesting to see how much bigger and smoke free some of the other rooms are... The hotel is a little old and run down.

Even though it is not a luxury hotel, I did not miss anything. Bad thing was that breakfast was not included. (80 HKD)

The hotel is very good if you stay for a couple of nights in HK because of its' very cheap price and relatively good location.

I found Hotel Bonaparte by Rhombus (two-minute walk from Charterhouse Hotel) and Ramanda Hong Kong Hotel (10-15 minutes by taxi) a much better deal -- more comfortable and less expensive.
