Value for money!
Great for triple sharing (1 queen bed plus 1 single bed). Bathroom is huge and there are 2 wardrobes. Clean, efficient staff, good security features.

Overall we had a great time staying in Chi Residences. The staff are friendly and efficient. The service is straight forward and rooms are very affordable. We had a triple sharing room. In most hotels, they will provide an extra bed (mostly fold-able and uncomfortable). But in Chi Residence, we had 2 bed rooms (albeit small ones) with 1 queen size bed plus 1 single bed. The hotel is located next to Temple Street, where you can do some late night shopping. However, food choices are limited as it is located on a street full of hardware shops.
Nightlife Tip:
The famous claypot rice (興记) on No19 Temple Street is just around the corner!

I had a pleasant stay at CHI. Very clean room and well maintained kitchenette. Highly recommend for those who are looking for longer stays in HK and don't mind without the usual facilities of a hotel. The location - even with the map printed for the cab driver, he has difficulty locating the front entrance. Upon first entry, one has press for intercom to get help to get in through main door. It looks a normal HK residential apartment. Have to bring my luggage up the first flight to the 2nd storey where the check-in office is located. However, the pleasant helpful staff really makes a difference to the rest of the stay. Good security so you will feel safe staying there.
Nightlife Tip:
The CHI apartment is very near to the famous night market (Ladies Street), worth walking around. Just be careful with your belongings while walking.

Hidden Gem in the center of Hong Kong!

It was a truly pleasant experience though the initial thought about the location was a tad shabby...
Upon our arrival, we were pleasantly surprised & the interior was so well kept! For the amount we paid (through Agoda) it was a real value compared to other hotels in the place. It is truly convenient and just a short walk to the MTR (infact we walked most of the time because the Residence is smacked right in the middle of Nathan Road!)
Nightlife Tip:
If you are looking at immersing into the daily lives of Hong Kong residents, this is the place to be at. beyond the clubbing at Lan Kwai Fong, this place has its own allure with the Temple Street just round the corner where you can experience night street shopping & authentic Hong Kong cuisine! ofcourse, the modern Hong Kong is over at the next street parralel to where we stay.

Chi Residence HK--Thumbs Up!
Rooms are spacious, well equipped and well designed. Very comfortable for extended stay. Lots of worthwhile shopping and grocery stores nearby. V. close to MTR. Helpful and very pleasant staff.

I would, without question, stay here again. First time that I have not stayed in TST and more than pleased with my choice. Very helpful staff, speaks English very well and understood and was able to address my needs. Terrific room for the money in HK. Right next to Temple Street Night Market. Easy to get around by cab or MTR.
Shopping Tip:
Very near Temple Street Night Market and some very good, reasonably priced seafood restaurants.

My stay at CHI Residences 279 Hotel was a great one. The room and the bed was great. The hotel provides free Wifi which i felt is necessary for a service apartment.Other value-added service like free-dvd rental, good security makes my stay enjoyable. The location is also near to Yau Ma Tei MTR(approx 5 mins walk).
Restaurant Tip:
Opposite the hotel there is a stretch of night hawker. Look for the claypot rice, it is great!

Fun time in Hong Kong
We found the CHI residences an excellent and easy place to stay. Close to the MTR and Nathan Road and to various markets and restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay at the CHI residences. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, the room was serviced each day and every thing was clean and modern. We particularly liked the red glass shower door, which we felt gave a bright interesting touch to the bathroom. The furniture, fittings and general appearance of the entire unit was pleasing and easy to relax after a day sight seeing and shopping. We will certainly stay with you again and have recommended your apartments to several friends.

The apartment is rather spacious and very clean. It only takes about 5 mins to walk to the MTR station, which makes travelling easy. One difference from Hong Kong Island or TST is the quietness at night as there are not much night activity around the area. However, the close proximity to the night market at Temple Street add a little buzz to the otherwise quiet night. I wouldn't mind staying here again.
