Nice place in a great location
near everywhere and everything
8.7
staff at chi were very friendly and service-oriented. everyone, from guest service officers to building maintenance greeted us with a smile or a wave each time they see us. room was clean and of a decent size. would be good if bathrobes were provided. the flush in my bathroom wasn't strong enough.
location was great! just a 5min stroll to ymt mtr and jade market. at night, the temple street stalls were just across the street. near the police station too. lots of food stalls around, including a very popular claypot rice shop which had long queues everyday.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
instead of taking the mtr to mongkok (1 stop), walk along shanghai street. it's about 20min to langham place and you get to see the many shops that ymt has to offer. we passed by several hardware shops, a mahjong palour, a few cha can tings, a lup cheong shop and even a snake soup place!! i didnt dare to look inside but my mum said she saw the snakes in tanks!

Supersized room, 2 mins walk from MTR, very efficient staff

In similar price range, you will never find a better hotel than CHI. It has the biggest room in HK ever! And towels are super soft. The bed is comfy. It has A/C and heater on board. Nice kitchen. It's basically like staying at home. Completely recommended!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Yau Ma Tei is located on 2 lines of MTR. So that's very convenient travelling around the island. The neighbourhood is full of restaurants. Hotel is so close to MTR. Location is quiet at night but nothing dangerous about that. Make sure you get a guidebook before coming to HK because you would miss so many hidden things without one.

Modern, clean and near MTR station
More spacious than most Hong Kong hotels at similar prices, new rooms
8.3
The apartment was clean and new, which made it very comfortable for three people to stay in. Most amenities were provided, including toiletries, bedroom slippers and hairdryer. The only problem I encountered was using the washing machine. I wish they had included written instructions on how to operate the machine. After trying to turn some knobs in futile, I gave up trying to do my dirty laundry.
The place is near a police station, so it is safe, although located in a quiet neighbourhood. Temple Street night market is at its doorstep, so we found it really convenient for buying things that we forgot to bring along.
Try the mango pudding at Hui Lau San, which is just a few steps away from the hotel. It is awesome!
Restaurant Tip:
Take some time to explore the neighbourhood. We didn't, until the last day of our stay and were pleasantly surprised to find a decent restaurant behind the hotel.

Cosy service apartments in good location
Comfortable beds and location
9.7
Lovely serviced apartments in a good location. About 10 minutes walk to Yau Ma Tei station. Located next to Temple street market and lots of places to eat. Our apartment was cleaned daily with fresh towels and bottles of water. We loved the shower room and big comfy beds after a tiresome day of shopping and sightseeing. It also came with our own house phone to call local numbers for free and there was also a smart tv so that we could browse the internet. Staff was nice and attentive and always seem happy to see us.

very small apartment
great location for neighbourhood food & shopping
6
the apartment was too small for 3 of us on our last 2 days in hk, in fact the whole premise was tiny, other then that, everything else is ok.
would not return to stay again as we would rather top up another us$ per day for ovolo 256, one that we have stayed on our 1st 2 days before our macau trip, they offers much bigger apartment with free mini bar & breakfast, plus great tips on food & travelling.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
as there's 3 of us, so we took taxi instead of the mtr as it's more worthwhile.
