The location. Close to Forest Hill Station and lots of cheap yummy cafes.
It's a great location. Only two blocks from the Forest Hill Station, can go to anywhere you really want. The cable car is one block away and for $2 and lots of time, you can ride it all the way to the macau ferry terminal. The staff was good and the room was great. Our Hong Kong friend said it was a decent size room. Not bad at all for the price.

Clean bathroom, clean rooms, bed was not too soft which was good! 5 minute walk to Fortress Hill MTR station.
Customer service! There was no bellboy at the front to help us with our luggage and we had 4 huge suitcases that needed to be carried into the hotel. At our room, no one offered to show us how the lamps, lights, fan, and air conditioning worked. The phone in our room was not working and it took them 20 minutes to send someone up to look at it. On our check-out day, I had requested a bellboy to come up to our room to help us with our luggage and the front desk totally forgot -- leaving us waiting for 15 minutes until I called them again. When we went to check-out and pay at the Cashier's desk, the lady there was incredibly rude to my father while handling the check-out process.
Rooms and bathrooms were quite clean. Location was good with only a 5-8 minute walk to Fortress Hill MTR station. Customer service here was definitely not even a 2 star as there was a) no bell-boy at the front door to help us in when we arrived, b) it took them 20 minutes to send someone up at 2 am to fix our phone, c) front desk forgot to send someone up to help us with our luggage on check-out day, and what was MOST surprising, was d) how rude the Cashier was when we checked out. The only person who was polite was the bell-boy who finally did help us down with our luggage which we gladly gave a big tip to.
I would only come back to this hotel if I had no choice.

It is very near to mtr and lots of good food & shopping around the hotel
Their reception staff service does not prove the superb of hotel. We could not even check in at 3pm even though we reached hotel at 1.30pm !! Their excuse was room not ready.. Lame excuse from such a grand hotel
It is very near to Fortress Hill Mtr, just a 5 minutes walk, thus it is very convenient to travel around Hong Kong and lots of good food at a very reasonable price all within walking distance. If you need to online there is a Starbucks 5 mins away from hotel & offers 20 mins free online per day. There are stalls around selling local products and even fashion items.
