the place is nice and clean. The staff are all helpfull and hospitable.

the place is small and a bit far from the closest mtr station. Although, they have shuttle every 15 min. in the cosmopolitan hotel which is a few meters down the road to cosmo hotel.

I like the look of cosmo hotel. It looks very ellegant. Beautiful furnishing, comfortable beds, flat screen tv, the lobby looks very nice. The staff are helpfull. The colors are all vibrant and lively. WHen you enter the place the bar is nicely situated with a huge orange revolving door. The things I dont like is that the bathrooms a bit small. And passed 9pm there are no more shuttle so its either you walk back to the hotel or you taxi back..

Shopping Tip : There are alot of shops in times square area. Just a few meters you can walk to sogo, lee gardens, etc.. Just wait for the shuttle, make sure you know the time when its going to get there.

- Modern decor which is inviting at the lobby; - Location good if you'd like close to Causeway Bay. Walking distance to much of CB near Times Square;

Room non-standard size and with tight spacing and funny configuration; Pricey during the week I stayed when it's double the normal rate. Felt a bit jibbed.

When checked in, I was told hotel is overbooked and hotel wants to move me to sister hotel - the Cosmopolitan which I refused as I would have booked at the other hotel if I had wanted to. Reception was nice enough though to accommodate (which means somebody else get the bump). Small bathroom and for the 'upgraded' room that I got, with funny configuration of the extra bathroom with only wash basin but not shower, and extra bedroom is more like a closet.

Staff are friendly, hotel is quite new and clean. Shuttle bus will be provided every 10 mins which is good for tourist.

Room is too small, narrow walking space.

The back of hotel is cemetery. Really dislike the feeling after revealed. However, if you exit from Causeway A entrance, you will not find this out. The mattress is as hard as rock. The value of money can select many other hotels near Wan Chai. It takes 10 mins walk from Causeway Bay A entrance and not much restaurants around. Not convenient.

clean, good services, near the city centre

none

Cosmo Hotel is one of my favourite places to visit during my business trip. It location is so convenient to meet my customers. The place is strategic. It also provide place to lobbying my customers, which is very essential for me. Over the past 10 years of my travel to Hong Kong, The Cosmo Hotel always be my destination. The price is very good, the service is excellent and the staffs are friendly, it also has a business centre, what more do you need?

Affordable, near Times Square, good access to MTR

Language difficulty (not all speaks english), no wireless internet signal at the room

Though the design is modern and aestheticaly pleasing, the room is smaller than i expected. For solo business travel its an economical choice, but not the same for a family more than 2. Service is prompt and courteous but the language difficulty can be sometimes frustating. Breakfast choices are limited, and as typical in hongkong, bland. Proximity to MTR is good and there are a lot of shops around so much of my time was spent outside the hotel. Wireless internet connection is non-existent in my room and I have to go down the lobby just to get access. Overall, for business and budget travel its good enough.

Friendly staff. Free internet in superior room.

Rooms were small and smelt of smoke. Only tepid water available. Kowloon rather than Hong Kong Island is better in terms of location.

The Cosmo hotel was very average. It was newly refurbished, but lacked any real style. We upgraded to a superior room on arrival as the standard room was small and smelt of smoke, but this increased the cost and was not value for money. It was fine, but would not recommend it to friends.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Spend a couple of days in Lantau (Big Buddha). It is beautiful, the island is less smoggy, less congested and has some beautiful beaches.

very modern design and it feels out of the hotel feels

Cause sharing same coach with sister hotel(cosmolitan hotel) for the transport

Overall the hotel was fine and good. All the staff are nice and very helpfull (from the way to register and up to ask direction). The housekeeping team also very on time altought someone still in the room and they perform their duty for service are good. I do not have any meals at the hotel and will not comment on that part. Basically, the hotel i can give 7/10 of the full marks.

Nightlife Tip : The shops around time square. They open until quite late at night. Fish ball noodle soup not bad for me.

Good Value for Hong Kong

Small Hotel Room

I stayed at the Cosmo for 4 nights recently. Overall, it is a good value hotel. pretty good deal in HK. It is certainly not a luxury hotel but a botique hotel and good if you are not in the hotel room much as the room is a bit tiny. The hotel does have wireless access at 100HKD per day which is fairly standard in HK. Would stay here again if on budget...

Hotel Feature Tip : Free Wireless access on lobby and 5th floor cafe

Helpful staff ,free internet in the lobby ,nice rooms

It's a little out of the way

The staff was very helpful, and the room was very nice, albeit a bit small. The lobby is a nice spot where you can enjoy free internet access while sitting in one of the many comfy chairs available and sipping a drink from the bar. It's a little out of the way, but cab rides to Central are only two or three dollars US, so it's worth it for the money that you save on the hotel room. Just something for travelers to note...when you check in, the folks at the front desk will ask you for a credit card, and will put approximately $80 on hold on your card. I didn't know this was going to happen, so it took me by surprise. However, when you leave they'll release the amount from your account.

Modern features

None

We found this a delightful modern Hotel. Our room was small, as usual in Hong Kong, but being a studio room the extra alcove was great for luggage storage, and having two bathrooms was another feature. Not sure about the frosted glass windows though, difficult to see what the weather was like, and if you needed an umbrella!

Hotel Feature Tip : Two bathrooms in the studio room

A great team of people from at the reception, concierge down to the chambermaids. It was personal, sincere and genuinely hospitable. What a great experience for the money spent. I liked it so much, i declined the invitation from a friend for a free apartment in Clear Water bay, i decided to stay twice.. before and after my Singapore trip.

The room smelt a bit funny when i walked in. (non-smoking room so it wasn't the cigarette smell) the fact that wireless is only available at the lobby and it wasn't terribly reliable. So some improvement on WiFi would be of immense value.

I love Happy Valley, jogging track (on the racing course) Time Sq. and etc. Cosmo is such a great hotel. I forgot to fill out a letter to comment on Amy Tam (one of your chambermaids) she was kind and very very helpful. thanks Amy. It's a joy to write this review about Cosmo, which i am not terribly keen most of the time, but suffice to say, i'm compelled to tell people about how great my stay was at Cosmo.

The staffs are very polite, friendly and helpful. Great service

The hotel should provide extra pillows.

The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. I have booked two rooms but however on my very first day of stay we were given two rooms at different level. I have requested to have two rooms at the same floor and the room was given the next day and the staffs even helped to move our belongings to the new room. This was rather nice. :) and on my last day of stay, as we were rushing our time to the airport, one of the staffs have offer to help us to book a taxi for us.

Cheap, downtown location. It's clean and sufficient if one just expect to have somewhere to sleep with no frill.

Small room, not very convenient to stay for more than 1-2 nights if on a business trip and do some work at the hotel.

I chose the Cosmo hotel because I needed somewhere fairly cheap, close to the places I had to go and since I was staying only 2 nights and had no intention to work from the hotel, I didn't mind the basic and small layout of the room. Don't expect something fancy, it's the bare minimum.
