Great hotel, good location and useful shuttle which goes to all the major sites. Very helpful driver.
quite difficult to get a taxi, spend about 10 mins waiting for one
Had a great stay here, rooms were a little small and cramped - however fairly comfortable. I would advise again putting lamps above the bed as invariably my head got knocked a couple of times. Helpful staff and great shuttle that saved on taxi costs. would definitely recommend this hotel and would return here again on another visit to Hong Kong.

The Showers in many rooms did not have a drain outlet and therefore the bathrooms became flooded.... very dangerous.
As mentioned above...something must be done urgently to fix the Shower drainage before someone falls over in the wet bathroom and hurts themselves badly... The showers/ bathrooms are poorly designed and very dangerous. The reception staff are attentive but appear tired or overworked.. They need to smile more often. The lifts are extremely slow... The shuttle service was quite good.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : For the best Greek Restaurant in HK, try The Olive in Soho... world standard.

comfortable rooms
easy access to Times square and MTR
We were very happy with the hotel the rooms were clean and comfortable, although for deluxe rooms the bathrooms were on small side. Not much of a view from the rooms. Staff were polite and helpful. Times square was a 10 minute walk which was good from there jump on MTR to anywhere in HK.

Good view of the race course, Nice Clean rooms, close to Times Square.
We normally stay close to central, and decided to stay here, to explore a different part of Hong Kong, It is very close to Wan-Chai for nightlife and Times Square for Shopping. We had a good view of the racing stadium, however it is not as impressive as the view over the Harbour from Central or the Mid-levels. Overall the hotel was very clean and tidy, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Make use of the shuttle bus for added value.

The Hotel is a wee bit out of the chaos of Wan Chai, but still within walking distance of everything. The hotel is clean and the Staff are friendly and helpful. The upper Floors and the suites that face the back onto a cemetery are great. Rooms are normal size, and quiet.
The lower rooms that face the back side of the hotel have their windows covered with a film, so that light will come in, but you have No view. It's a walk to any restaurant or attraction. Bed's are a little hard, Not too bad, but not soft in anyway.
I would stay at the Cosmopolitan again, it's worth the value I paid and I like that it's not in the centre of Wan Chai, but that I was able to walk or catch a taxi to central or anyplace really easy. I also feel this is a good hotel for families, and those wanting quietness.
Restaurant Tip : You can walk to Times Square with ease and their are wonderful restaurants there.

the location is good. Near Time Square and MRT station.
the room is not big, though it's the common scene in Hong Kong.
In Hong Kong, most hotel rooms are so small. This one is not that big as well. The good thing is the location is very convenient. MRT is walking distance in 10 min and there are some resturant around the street. You could also find the shopping place Time Square.

Staff are very friendly and very helpful. The hotel and the room is clean and well equipped with necessary items.
The twin bed is Superior room is rather small and the mattress is too thin.
The hotel shuttle bus service is excellent. It made us very conveneint to connect from the airport express train to the hotel and to go the several intersesting places in downtown Hong Kong. I will come back and stay in this hotel again for my next trip.

Quite convenient location.
Bad smell in the room.
No outside view.
The quality is quite ok for the price paid but I would appreciate better air-conditioning of the room and more friendly service from the staffs. The location is quite convenient though, not too far from the airport train and it's only a few minutes walk from the department store and shopping area.

The location is great for getting to both central and Kowloon side. The staff are friendly and helpful
The room was a twin despite booking a double the answer was to just push beds together. Fine except that doesn't move the lights over bed so still end up sleeping on one side. No bath only shower. Room was small for the price
I've stayed in this hotel before and was again impressed by the service. The room this time was much smaller and no bath so if that matters to you book the executive as this is where they are classed now. Location is great for getting round. Internet a it pricy at $100hk a day but that seems the standard rate around the world if it is charged for.

They give excellent service. The rooms are a bit larger than other comparable hotels. The location is convenient to downtown Hong Kong and close to public transportation.
The mattresses are a bit hard, but this is common in many hotels in Asia.
We always stay at the Cosmopolitan when we visit Hong Kong. We have been averaging one visit a year for the last 4 years and had a few visits before 2004, but on a less frequent basis. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They seem happy to serve their guests and are willing to go the extra mile to make the guests stay a pleasant experience.
The staff remembers us and we see the same employees there year after year. This indicates it is a pleasant place to work and the courtesy they extend to the guests must be extended to their employees.
The hotel is conveniently located near downtown Hong Kong, and is within an easy walk of the Wan Chai Market and the district in general. Pacific Place is a longer walk away, but we have done it many times and we are almost old enough to be qualified for senior citizens discounts.
Hotel Feature Tip : The Cosmopolitan has an excellent restaurant located on the 1st floor. It has good western as well as Chinese and Asian food.

Rooms were very small and plain.
A bit of a walk to any location.
Room service menu was not very comprehensive.
I had high hopes for the Cosmopolitan Hotel as it was a relatively new hotel in Hong Kong. Approaching from the airport, the entrance to the hotel by taxi is concealed and only approachable by doing a huge circle around Happy Valley.
The Hotel itself has a small lobby and although marbled up, wasn't very impressive. Once we checked in, I was very disappointed with our room. It seemed about the size of a large closet and when I booked, this wasn't even the cheapest type of room. The bed was a small double (perhaps even a king single) and there wasn't even enough room to lay out our suitcases anywhere.
In terms of the location, it is right between Wan Chai and Causeway Bay, which sounds good but it's about a 10 minute walk to either place, which we found was a pain. To get to Times Square in Causeway Bay, you have to go down into the tunnel to cross the busy intersection that the hotel is located.
All in all, I found the hotel disappointing and with a large number of other hotels available in Hong Kong, I definitely would choose a different one.

The lobby was quite nice. Check-in was smooth and proceeded quickly. Had to wait some time for the lift; there were quite a few others checking in at the same time. Room is small, but normal for HK standards and did not have most toiletries that I am accustomed to. Overall, excellent value for money and in convenient location.
