Lovely hotel in great location

It might not be a pleasant experience to pass by crowds of people on the roads and deal with those who want to sell you hotel rooms outside the entrance of the building called Chung Chin Mansion. However, once you find your way in and get yourself upstairs (10F, where the hotel is), you'll find yourself in a hotel which looks relatively new. Once you check in, you might be lead to the other side of the floor and guided to your room. My room was nice, with a TV, a fridge, a safe, a fan on the ceiling, an AC and a bathroom (just enough to help me enjoy my stay). I was even told that I could make coffee/tea or heat up food down in the hallway for free.
Travel tip:
You should probably bring your soap, shampoo and bath gel with you. The hotel provided me some shampoo and shower gel on the arrival day, but afterwards, I had to rely on my own completely.

Beware of Chun King Mansions...
It is dirty and the stench is unbearable.

Great location but rooms are tiny and uncomfortable. There is no leg room either in the toilet or the room. Ventilation is poor and it is suffocating. Watch out for leaking water under the bed. Trash thrown out of the windows makes it very smelly.
I will never go back there and not recommend not only Day and Night but any accommodation at Chun King Mansions. Most of the hostels and hotels and what have you are managed by Indians who are mismanaging it professionally.
I was infected by dirty linen. It is a terrible place to stay.

it is my first time to stay in a guesthouse and am glad i booked with day and night hotel. i never expected that such a comfortable and value for money space can be found in chungking mansion.
if you will stay in hk to splurge on shopping and not in hotel rooms, this is the place to sleep in.
phoebe's (an english-speaking filipina)warmth and johnny's (a hongkongese of indian decent - i think...)and the very clean rooms is more than enough compensation for the tight comfort room.

Although i have confirmed booking from agoda when i reached there at 2.00 am they said no single rooms(I had booked single rooms)were available.They were reluctant to give me the double room that was available.When i mentioned that i will have to mention this on my agoda review then they gave me the room.
Shopping Tip:
Rooms are extremely small. in some single rooms you cannot even open a suitcase except on the single bed.Rooms are clean though.
big problem to get the lift. extremely long waiting as there is only one lift.Agoda should mention that it is not a hotel but a guest house on the 10th floor in chung kin mansion which is famous for pick poketers.

重慶マンションですので、初めての方には驚きが多いと思います。中東やアフリカ？系の人が多く、次に欧米系、日本人はほとんどいません。独特の雰囲気があありますので普通の日本人観光客は入ろうとも思わないところです。
実際には彼らはフレンドリーですし危険でもありません。
立地/値段/熱いシャワー/清潔なベッド/Wifi だけを考えれば、とても良いホテルです。
部屋はトイレを含めて5m2位で値段の割りに広いです。トイレにシャワーが付いている形ですが、湯温湯量は問題なしでした。
最近改装を行った様で、廊下・部屋とも非常に綺麗でした。
エレベータはマンションに入って1つ目の角を右、次の角を左に行ったところです。左が偶数階用になっています。フロントに行くドアは暗証番号が必要なので夜間チェックインの場合は事前に電話した方が良さそうです。
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
MTR尖沙咀駅のほぼ真上にありますので、観光・買物とも非常に便利です。

スタッフの対応、立地はいいが、いかんせん部屋が…。

世界中いろいろ行っているが、部屋の狭さにはびっくり。一畳サイズのベッドに、トイレ、シャワー、ちょっとしたスペース、しめて二畳半。これなら、四人部屋のドミトリーの方が快適と最初は思ったが、2日もすると不思議と慣れてくる。2,3日の滞在なら立地の良さと値段の安さで十分がまんできます。ただ女性にはあまりお勧めしません。ホテルのフロント、部屋までエレベーターで上がるのですが、あまり治安が良いという雰囲気は感じませんでした。ときに階段も使いましたが、薄暗く、男の私でも何となく不穏な空気を感じました。特に何かあったわけではないので、ただの思いすごしかもしれませんが。スタッフはインドの方でしたが、夜中にエアコンがうるさいと苦情を言うとすぐに直しに来てくれました。とても親切な方たちでしたよ。立地は抜群なので、上記の点を気にしない方には、たいへん良いホテルだと思いますよ。

2度目の滞在。今回はレセプションのある側の部屋。基本的に一人でもダブルで窓側の部屋をリクエストするが、以前泊まった別のゾーンと違ってこちらはやや古く更に狭くまあ大抵の他のゲストハウスと変らないレベル。それでも、レセプションには常に人がいるし比較的安心して利用できるという点はポイント高いと思う。
