I think the hotel needs to produce a better map of where they are located for tourists unfamiliar with Hong Kong. I would start with an overlay of the transit lines (trains) and also list what number buses travel where. I found out on the last day of my stay that the buses that zipped by my door actually went to where I wanted to go!
- Restaurant Tip : A number of quite cheap Asian food places right outside the door of the hotel. You can get good quality sushi in the laneway to the left of the hotel late at night. Most of these stores do not speak a lot of English but you can get by. If you require cash, there is an ATM about 50 metres down the road from the hotel (go out and turn left and cross one small street).

Dorestt Far East hotel is close to everything you need. There is an excellent bakery next door and a shopping mall, should you like to do shopping. There is a local market, banks and everything you really need. The MTR is a 5 minute walk away, giving you quick and easy access to other destinations. On arrival at the hotel, there is a friendly and warm welcome and the guest is provided with a local area map and a tube map. The staff are all too willing to point out and give directions to places should you need them. The rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable with a television and safety deposit box. Breakfast is provided at an additional cost and a free morning newspaper is brought to your room each morning. The hotel caters well for disabled guests, with easy access bedrooms and good bathroom facilities. The main attraction of the hotel was the exceptional customer service we received throughout our stay. I would recommend this hotel to all travellers.
- Restaurant Tip : Head over to A1 cafe and bakery, located right next to the hotel where you can get a great set lunch that is very good value for money. You can then pick up tasty baked goods in the bakery section, which leads through into the mall if you fancy a spot of shopping.

Tsuen Wan is an interesting town and the hotel is very central, close to the metro system and the KCR mainline. Also close to a bus that travels to the Chinese mainland.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Travel to the Peak. Central, Tsim Sha Tsui. Nathan Road. Mong Kok. Lamma. Shenzhen.
