new hotel in an old district of HK

it is a newly established hotel for 1 or 2 years? so its room and amenities are in good shape. the room rent is cheaper considering other hotels in Hong Kong Island but that has taken into account of its further away location in HK. The Western district, Kennedy Town, is a very old district so you will get to see th 'real' side / or the daily lives of Hong Kong people. just my personal preference though - i don't really like the strong perfume they used in the hotel ... and their reception table is quite small. overall i still think it's a decent for a short stay and you cant ask for too much for price at this level.

Slightly off the beaten track in Kennedy Town but easily accessible to Central etc by buses and trams. Interesting decor to hotel and rooms. Rooms very clean and comfortable but quite small. No bath just shower. Nice flat screen TV on wall. Harbour view not great as not so much to see at this end of the island. All in all pretty good value for money.

the staff was very helpful during our stay regarding transportation etc. the free wifi and breakfast are a plus! Also, there is a coffee shop just across the street. only minutes by taxi to the central hong kong district.
Nightlife Tip:
have dinner at the soho area!

Although the location is a bit remote from the mtr line, The hotel provide an hourly shuttle to ifc and nearest mtr station. Good breakfast spread. Friendly and well trained staff. Value for money.

It's a cozy hotel and being nice decorated as mentioned. However, it is not spacious inside the room. Bathroom is clean and staff is helpful.
Overall, a nice hotel with reasonable price (if you don't mind to stay apart from the city centre!)

Apart from the transport issue, this hotel is great to live in. MTR is not reachable to this location but there is a free shuttle bus from the hotel to nearest MTR station and you can also take the tram nearby to city centre. As for eatery or groceries, you do not have to worry because there are plenty of convenience store and restaurants around.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Try out the tram car but not advisable for those who are in hurry because it took around 30mins to the nearest MTR station, depends on the traffic.
