i frequent between this hotel and another and east has and will be my first choice for it's location and convenience. being a business hotel, it's urban chic and simplistic approach is just right for me , no fuss. beds are comfortable, sound proofing is good, room amenities are well planned. one are of improvement i would say is the staff needs to loosen up a bit and relax. most times they were too stiff and inflexible when it comes to requests.

1 minute walk from tai koo mtr station and cityplaza, hk's largest shopping mall

hotel is located right next to a mtr station, shopping mall and there are plenty of restaurants around. as the hotel is located next to a residential area, it is not as crowded as other areas in hk such as causeway bay or tsim tsa tsui.
Nightlife Tip:
Try out the Sugar bar on the top floor. Excellent drinks with nice view.

Everything about the East Hotel was a great experience. I cannot think of anything negative to say. Great Staff, Great Location, Great Ammenities. This is a very nice, well thought out hotel and i would highly recommend staying there.
