very bad service !!!!
locations, tidy room, quiet place
5.7
I have a really unpleasant experience staying at east hotel,!!! i won't recommend anyone stay there !!
I booked the room with breakfast, which shows from the booking voucher, while i checking in,i asked which floor for breakfast? the ladies at receptions answered in chinese : "the room u booked without breakfast" ! i pointed out at the voucher "urban view with breakfast " and i am sure my booking comes with breakfast (as i paid more than regular price while booking). She tried to fool me said " breakfast is the room's name ,doesn't mean breakfast included" until i spoke them with english, suddenly the problem solved! The bad news is, the same problem happened while checked out, and i have went through the whole process with receptions again. It costed me more than 1.5 hrs to wait there for them to check in n check out. In the end they just said without any apology to me !!
The other bad experience- the housekeeping, took all our refreshment n toilet paper away without refill them, we have to called customer service and asked them to refill
i feel the staffs there not only untrained but also rude , the hotel should educated their employee

overall the stay was very pleasant. The hotel is nicely located just next to the Taikoo MTR station and connected to the cityplaza shopping centre next door so it is very convenient.
the check in and check out process are very quick and the staffs are helpful.
the hotel's restaurant is worth a try as well, I tried the set dinner for valentine's day and it was surprisingly good. The breakfast selection is not big but not bad.
the location is not as crowded as some of the other popular spots in Hong Kong but it is convenient and has the advantage of being able to enjoy the quietness.

I had a great time staying at East even it is only a very short evening. I love the design of the room. Cozy and comfortable. Also the staff are friendly and helpful. Also, the patio pub at Sugar is a must visit spot for a relax drink after a hard day's work

Modern, new and chic hotel
Connected to the Tai Koo MTR station exit, ipod in room, plenty of earteries
8.7
A very modern and chic hotel in the Tai Koo area. The hotel is quite new, with ipod in each room. The location is convenient, 20 mins MTR ride, you will reach TST. Not as crowded as normal tourist spots like TST, Central, Causeway Bay. I enjoyed morning walking around the hotel. There are shopping malls at next door. The MTR exit is basically outside the hotel entrance. Service is very good when I reported some problems of the air conditioner.

it's located exactly on top of mtr station and is convenient to travel to any part of hong kong. superb semi-buffet breakfast and with stylish room. however, it's overpriced for the room rate.
