Good hotel rooms need updating

Good hotel and location, with direct train link from the airport to the bus station, then a free local bus to the hotel, note hotel is 10 mins from bus station but as this hotel is the last stop on the free bus set route it took an hour.
As we booked through a online web site and paid straight away, when we got to the hotel after a good 30 min wait to be seen by the receptionist 4 members of staff on, with2 managers standing next to the line of waiting guests doing nothing, we were not made to feel very welcomed, the reception demanded a credit card which as we had already paid in full we declined to give, they said they wanted we declined again, they spoke to a manager then said if no credit card then we take everything out the mini bar, we said fine, but we didn't expect security to follow us up to the room with a plastic bag and before we could go into the room they emptied the mini bar, get start and trust issue.
The restaurant has limited vegetarian food, and for a Michelin star chef that is poor, we were not given any alternatives, but across the street is. A great little cafe that serves great food at a quarter of the price.
The rooms could be better and updated, overall as we are travelling for a year through Asia and Australia and have stayed in a lot of different hotels I would say that price and the fact this was a 4 star mitchlin hotel it was by far one of the worse hotels we have stayed in, would we stay again. Definatly NO.

Badly maintained rooms. Broken lightings, remote control for TV, deformed mattresses etc. Top it with aircondition vents too small for the room resulting in warm and stuffy room.

With the price I'm paying for, it's value for money with comfy clean rooms, good location to temple street food and the hotel is just 5 mins to Jordan mrt which is 2 stops to mongkok ( shopping for young ppl night market) and about two stops to Tom sha tsui( branded stores at habour city)

Nice stay....
this hotel is very suitable for who want to shopping.. so many choices here, also the MTR is very near, can be reached by 5 minutes walking..very confinience. Also, for breakfast, i feel it quite special since i got my breakfast at the lounge which is not many people there but the food is still OK.
For the ones who love dimsum, near the hotel has one dimsum restaurant which is should say that is very recommended.

hi my daughter and i spent a week at eaton smart in a club room.we were upgraded on arrrival to eat breakfast at metro restaurant which was fantastic .we ate there every morning and could not fault anything.we ate at the same place one evening and although a little pricy the food was excellent .well done eaton smart .excellent choice ,brilliant location for jordan mtr station.

Lovely hotel but my first room gave me allergies
Very good service, wifi was very good. Room service was reasonable, smiles all around.

When informed about my allergies, they found another room for me to stay in, same day. And they helped me move to the next one. It was great service, all around. They even allowed late check- out at 4pm.
Shopping Tip:
Near to MTR station and the night market. Opposite the hotel is a nice money changer who can give you slightly higher exchange rate if you are exchanging a few hundred dollars, and if you ask nicely. Convenient location for fastfood and Starbucks right across and Sasa a block away.
