Stay at Eaton Hotel in Hong Kong Guest Rating: 3.3

The overall stay at the Eaton Hotel was good, the location, and the outdoor cafe created an excellent atmosphere. However, the manners of the staff at the front reception was a little disappointing, and they should follow the problems on the customer. I checked out and left my cell phone in my room, asked them about it immediately and they said that someone is cleaning the room at the moment and that they would bring it. I waited in the lobby for half an hour, couldn't find the person I talked to so I had to ask someone else, the staff gave me a key and told me to go upstairs and find/get it myself. The room was empty and no one has been in there, the cleaning staff was cleaning the other rooms so if I waited at the lobby, I would have to wait for that person to at least clean 5 rooms before he reaches mine and who knows if he was going to bring it down straight away.

My friend and I was very impressed with this hotel, Eaton will always be our first choice for our next trip to HK.

Nice&Clean Room / Reasonable Price / Service-minded staffs / Perfect Location and last Beautiful Receptionistsssss

The hotel is under renovated so it is noisy , We did shopping till late or midnight everyday and wanted to sleep but was waken up before 9AM with the construction noise.

• Nightlife Tip : It is quite near Temple Street (walkable distance) and 3 bus stop from Ladies market.

We always enjoy staying at the Eaton.

Very convenient to the markets, MTR only a short walk, nice pool and friendly staff.

Unloading/loading bags from the Airport bus was a little difficult as there was no loading zone. The waiting area for the bus was not air conditioned so it can get very hot.

The Eaton is a first-class hotel at a decent price for Hong Kong. The Starbucks across the street is a bonus, as is the excellent service from the staff. If you're looking for a good hotel at reasonable rates, this is the place for you. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, and proximity to the Night Market all keep me coming back to the Eaton.

Getting a cab is not very difficult. But if you want to go out every night to LKF or similar, get a hotel in TST as this hotel is quite far from those places and requires a toll to get to and from.

• Hotel Feature Tip : The hotel offers airport transfer for 130 HK per person - a steal if there are two of you - be mindful though that this shuttle service also caters to other hotels so the travelling time to and fro can be quite lenghty. If you're travelling via PAL, you need to go to Terminal 2 - this means a very long walk from the entrance to the boarding gate. Leave the hotel really early if you're to avail this service. But if there are 3 of you travelling, get a taxi. It will cost you 300 HKD and the travel time is so much faster.
