Ease of transportation, near shopping area.

The room is clean and neat. The staffs are very nice and efficient. The morning buffet has many choices and taste good. The Skytrain is close to the hotel, about 10 minutes by walking. There are many shopping malls and nice restaurants in this area. By the way, the Italian restaurant inside the hotel is very good.

Location - right on Nathan Road between Jordan & Yau M Tai Signage - Big vertical sign easy to spot among the incredible HK visual clutter Quality - this is a genuine 3.5 - 4.0 star hotel Staff - courteous and helpful Value for money - hard to beat in HK

Any criticisms would be nitpicking since they would be common to all HK hotels - smallish rooms by western standards, boring restaurant menu etc

I've stayed in lots of 3 - 5 star hotels in HK and this is my favourite. Really convenient location for public transport, helpful staff who speak good English, clean comfortable rooms with fittings in good repair. You can pay a lot more for greatly inferior accommodation in HK - this hotel offers exceptional value for money (if you book at Agoda's price!)

Travel tip : I often eat at Yoshinoya Japanese restaurant on Nathan Street near Jordan MTR - clean, tasty, cheap. Stanley Markets better than Mong Kok & Temple Street now - catch the green minibus near Causeway Bay MTR - HKD9 each way - very scenic trip

Close to shopping and transport

Meals a bit expensive

The hotel must be congradulated on their service to travellers whom arrive on early flights,we arrived at the hotel at 9am (0610 flight arrival)and were greeted by extremely friendly staff who did not hesitate to provide our room. The only negative was that I paid for a room upgrade and cound not figure out what I got for my money

Hotel Feature Tip : Ideal for short stop overs

Location to shopping and MTR

Needs renovations in some of the rooms; TV remote didn't work, non-smoking room reeked of smoke, toilet slow to flush. Long wait for check in (unprofessional staff).

This is the third time I've stayed in this hotel with the other times being at least 3 years ago. I had only remembered good things about the Eaton but was severely disappointed to find the room I stayed in to be old and outdated, the toilet didn't flush properly... to be honest, even though the lobby was spacious and there was a nice terrace for dining outside, I felt like I was staying at the Motel 6 of Hong Kong. Definitely not worth the price and the hype. Will not choose Eaton again. Many other hotels in the same price range which are better.

Front of House - service - excellent Food - very high standard Nice Rooms

Rooms too small - claustrophobic Expensive - Rooms, food and beverages

Overall, we had a wonderful stay in the hotel. The staff in particular were extremely friendly, helpful and hospitable. My only minor concern was the size of the room - it felt claustrophic. And the glass between the bedroom and bathroom might be trendy but not necessarily desirable. I'd be happy to recommend the hotel to others.

Nightlife Tip : Temple Street Market

I would like introduce this hotel to my friends

Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms very clean. The restaurants and room service food very good including prices.

Rooms far too small for two people.

I enjoyed my stay at the Eaton and the only real complaint I had was that the rooms are far too small for two people. We came to Hong Kong to shop and when we brought our shopping back to our hotel room we had nowhere to put it. Would not put our luggage down flat because there was no room so therefore we had our shopping all over the place. Other than that we had no complaints about the hotel and we did enjoy our stay. The hotel staff were very helpful and polite.

Shopping Tip : We found the shopping at the Wing On store very good. The store is so big you can purchase everything you need.

Great location, excellent staff that was extremely helpful. The 3rd shift manager made a special accommodation for me that was unbelievable. I wish I knew his name.

This is a great location just 15 minute walk to the harbor. The hotel was very clean and in good condition. There is free internet access in the basement area where the coffee shop is located. I would stay here again as long as the price is the same. It is also a short walk to the subway.

Hotel Feature Tip : Free internet access in the coffee shop with computers on the ground floor. Just need to buy a coffee.

Close to all amenities (Jordan MTR, Nathan Road, Temple Street Night Market etc) Staff extremely helpful & friendly. Our room was upgraded from a deluxe to an Executive - very happy. The Eaton Hotel has many great features - gymnasium, pool, business centre, outdoor garden where you can dine, escalators and lifts, a cafe...

If you would like to use the internet for free, you have to go down to the Main Street Cafe but it is not in fact free, you have to purchase something from the cafe in order to use the internet which is in Chinese and not al sites work.

Overall, the Eaton Hotel was a great place to stay. It was in a very central location close to train stations, night markets and a short taxi ride to the Ladies Market in Mong Kok. The Hotel staff were superb and I could not fault them. They were extremely helpful and always polite and courteous. We stayed in the older of the Executive Rooms but it was nonetheless, a comfortable, clean and nice room. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Kowloon, Hong Kong.

Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Water pressure in shower was good even on high floor. Appreciated the free internet in lobby and guide book in room was helpful.

Although I asked for a non-smoking room, on checking in I was informed that the only room available was on a "smoking" floor. Maybe I should have checked this out a little closer to the time I arrived. I would have liked to see cereal available for breakfast in the lobby cafe.

My daughter and I recently spent 5 nights at the Eaton Hotel. The basics of the room were fine and suited our needs ie comfortable bed, quiet room and good pressure in the shower. These creature comforts mean the most when you've been out seeing the sights all day, or shopping. The added bonus of free internet near the lobby cafe were handy in the mornings and meant we could eat breakfast and keep in touch with home before we set foot out the door. And once we did set foot out the door it was only a few minutes away to a metro station. Of course the room was smallish but that wasn't really an issue for what we used it for - ie. a base between hitting the streets again.

Shopping Tip : Fa Yuen Market (Further up than the end where all the sports shoes are sold)
