Good service, newly renovated and convenient

empire hotel hk wan chai is really value for money. it locates in wanchai, 5 mins walk from subway, bus stops outside the hotel, only hk$ cost for taxi from hotel to hong kong station to take air express to airport, walking distance to admiralty and 10-15 mins bus / tram travel to central / causeway bay.
hotel service is very good. the staff is generally young but very helpful.
hotel is considered as spacious in hong kong. it is clean and comfortable. however, my friend complained her room's toilet was a bit torn and it made her upset. i think it is only single instance.
i will still book this hotel next time considering the price, the location, the size of room and the staff service.
Restaurant Tip:
If you like eating Wanton Noodles, there is one opposite to the hotel, next to Parkview Hotel. It is absolutely fantastics! So, basically food is not a problem in Wanchai.

for the past 15 years, i always stay at empire when visiting hong kong. good location, convenient, near mtr, restaurants, bar, business district. even the price is reasonable considering similar hotels in the area.

Worst Hotel experience I ever had

This is the worst hotel experience I ever had. The service is horrible, have to wait for over an hour to get the room, the room given at the end and the cleaning cart was right outside the door the entire time. Bathroom leaking, couldn't change the temperature of the aircon, asked for an extra blanket and had to wait for over half an hour just to get a dirty one. Everything sucks.

Stayed here for business. the bed is among the most comfortable. Standard business hotel. Internet is a bit slow and there is no wifi, has to connect via cable.

nice hotel and friendly staff near in convenient store and bars there is filipino workers in there feel at home,but the unforgettable day of my life is going to disneyland with my best friend we saw the cartoon characters especially my minnie mouse i love it and the best is the fireworks at night before going home amazing..
