nearby the exihibition center service attitude very bag. the bath room has something problem,we ask them to solve the problem,but they seems want to treat us at the begining. fortunitely,they promise to change a new room for us. we are really unhappy.we will never live at this hotel.

staff are hard to understand cause they cant speak clear english i am very happy in our stay in empire hotel in wanchai hongkong,they have a nice, clean and quite hotel.the staff is very helpful whenever you needed help.when you go outside the hotel their are lots of restaurant nearby,also money changer are everywhere. empire hotel is also one ride to the ocean park and the peak,when we visit hongkong again in the near future,i think we would stay again in empire hotel

close to where I needed to be Food wasnt good, some of the front desk people need to take a class in customer service. Had to pay for internet access. I picked this hotel because it was close to where I needed to be. I made the mistake in asking for a smoking room for my hubby, big mistake cause the room stunk like an ash tray. I invited some friends to breakfast the first day and we were all upset with the quality of the food served. I probably wouldnt stay here again.

Location and close to all forms of transport One of the side roads has a lot of bars so for families just don't walk along that road. Great location in the middle of everything. MRT 5 mins walk..The Wanchai ferry pier about 15 mins walk, Bus stops to Stanley Market and even to the Peak is about 10mins walk. Tram line is just down the road. Even the coach/bus to Shenzhen is within walking distance.So location is superb ! Hotel rooms if for two people is just nice..Confy room and bed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. What was a fantastic bonus is that the bus direct to Shenzhen airport is just opposite the road..!

Beautiful lobby and rooms, Nice & Friendly receptionists and bellboys. Excellent. Mini Bar is not cold enough,too warm. Need to make the mini bar cold in order to keep the drinks inside chilled regardless of weather. This Hotel is recommended for all. Its rates are very reasonable and its worth your money. Its near to almost everywhere with pubs and 7-11 almost every corner.
Nightlife Tip : Excellent Night Spots around the hotel. Never afraid not to get back to your hotel even if you're drunk since the pubs are all less than 5 minutes walk.

Counter Service try to service but to slow.
Close to HK Center Fair, Subway, Pub and local returaunt. Too Late, Check In. I can Check in at 16.00.
On Time, Check out. The Key Card, They out of service on time and before Check out. Counter service too slow service.

If you don't tell them about smooking, They will arrange smooking for you. It look like No Smooking Not avaible, Please! comfirm Non-Smooking Room before your reserve.

Location is good and convenient as meeting point for business discussion. Staffs are nice, patient. Room is spacious and quite nice. Room cleaning should be done on time.
Housekeeping should provide quicker service when requested on certain necessary items such as electrical adapter. Situated in a good location enabling business meeting with relatively good facilities to entertain. Access to public transportation is also good, within reasonable walking distance to nearest MTR. Distance to shopping places is also good by walking, bus or MTR.
Facilities inside the hotel is good, coffeeshop, lobby corner for coffee and light meals to entertain guests.
Room has a nice view and has modern but not overly decorated materials to block limited space.
Restaurant Tip : Many good noodle shops around the area where you can get all sorts of noodles: beef, wonton with egg noodles, fishball noodles, ect. good value and delicious.

Location is excellent everything is within walking distance with public transportation close by. Room seem the need to be updated some mold was around bath tub and the tub is very small This was my second time staying at Empire Hotel I will definitely staying again on my next trip to Hong Kong. I real like the location everything that I wanted too see or do was in walking distance or public transportation was close by. Room service was excellent and eveyone spoken a little English.

Location was good. Heart of Wanchai close to pretty much everything in that part of town. Slow check in process. Arrived at 1400 still had to wait an hour for my room to be ready. Overall wasn't a bad stay in the hotel. It was definitely a bad first impression when the check in process took as long as it did and then they didn't have a room ready for me. Having only two folks handling the check in process is not very efficient. The bathroom sink and grouting around the tub could also use a good cleaning. The beds in my room were comfortable. The Key cards for the rooms were a high and a low point of the stay. Good they were easy just to touch the lock to get into your room bad you had to place them in a very specific way in the elevator to get it to leave the ground floor. I like that it keeps the strangers from going upstairs but a couple of times I thought I was going to lose my card into the paneling of the elevator.
Shopping Tip : There is a very convenient ATM location right around the corner from the hotel.

The room is a little bit small. Hotel is at very good location. A couple of minutes to MTR station, you can find many cheap or expensive restaraunts in this area. The room was clean, staff were very friendly. You can take the free airport shuttle from HongKong station, stop right in front of the hotel.
Travel tip : You can take the Airport Free Shuttle from Hongkong station to the hotle. It depatures every 20 minutes.

nice room, new and modern fixtures, clean First time I have tried this hotel. I chose it for the location which is great but what surprised me pleasantly was the cleanliness of the room and it is decorated with new and modern fixtures. Bathroom is small but has all the amenities. Did not visit any of the restaurants though. I will definitely return to this hotel especially when they have promotions.

Walking distance to MTR Room smelt of damp and there were damp patches on the ceiling and walls
Water didn't drain out of the bath
Only one TV channel which continually looped so you were watching the same thing over and over again
No complimentary water
Room and bathroom were tiny
No soundproofing even though we were on the 12th floor you could hear the traffic noise. Also the room walls were very thin so you could hear what was going on in other rooms!
An expensive hotel with poor service and standard of cleanliness. I will not be returning.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Walking distance to the harbour area where you could watch the light show.

Nice location, very helpful staff, club lounge had excellent food No actual bar area for patrons This hotel, centered in the middle of Wan Chai provides excellent service, good value, and very nice rooms. If you choose to do a club room, you will get access to the club lounge, which provides food that is actually better than some of the closer resteraunts. Even though it is in the middle of one of the busier drinking districts, it has none of the problems that usually accompany such a location. All in all, a very good choice to stay at and be in the middle of it all
