Empire Hotel Kowloon Tsimshatsui, Hong Kong

this is my first time stay in empire hotel, room quite small but comfortable, only the toilet got a bit smelly. desk staff was very friendly n helpful.around the hotel got alot of food to eat ( cha chan teng, korea food, jap food....)10 min walk to MTR, around the hotel got alot of shops open till 11pm. overall satisfied in this hotel.

comfortable room, clean n tiny, only the toilet difficult to flush and the hair dyrer not user friendly, design like vaccum , handle very hot when in use. location near to MTR by 10 mins walk and 15 mins walk to ferry terminal. staff friendly.overall we satisfied staying this hotel. hope next time we come again it will better.

i stayed there for 2 nights. Room quite small. Hotel should concern more about cleanliness coz i found hairs in the bathroom. The most important thing there is no free water for guess, we paid HK$ 10 per bottle. Staff was very nice work very quicky.

The area of hotel very near the shopping area and restuarant can walk around 5-10 minute from hotel to shopping street, Hotel and room very clean and new. The room size small a bit but we never mind. Also not far from MTR station and Ferry Terminal. Hotel staffs available for information.

We were well greated by the Front Desk and were upgraded to a Harbour View Room. Room is reasonably clean but do not top up the toilet amenties daily. However the mattress is slightly springy and the centre part sinks down a little. Pillows are too soft. The distance to MTR is about 15mins walk. Good location if you want a quiet environment. Little food stalls around the corner.

I stayed in Hong Kong on my return to USA from China. It was a short stay so I wanted to be central and have easy connection to the airport. I found Empire, which is directly across the road from airport express line. Good desk staff and concierge service, clean room and reasonable price, I'm very satisfied with this hotel.

If your main objective for the trip is shopping, you must stay here. it's strategic location!! And a nice bathroom though.

Stayed in this hotel which is a stones through from the Stanford Hillview when out in Far East on business. returning from China for the weekend it was the cheapeast. we were given a room at the top floor so view was fabtastic although not good for vertigo sufferers. Location is superb. right next to Nutford terrace were you can choose from Austalian, French, Spanish, Turkish, Italian restaurants. Room is TTiny but very modern and full of space saving devices. all in all for the money very good value. we needed a extra night and were offered the standard tariff. so we went on Agoda online and booked it for a third of this price.

On my first night of stay at Empire Club floor(22nd)the room have modern features but unfortunately it is very very small and you can hardly put your bags. Not to mention the bathroom as well. On my second night after returning from Disneyland, I requested for a bigger room and it was on the 16th floor. The room is much bigger but the carpets are dirty and the bathtub has crack in it with patch up marks. The bellboy misplace 2 of my bags and it took them 15 minutes to locate it.

foods and shopping is every where just a stone throw away.convenient to take the MTR and easy guide to other station.buy the tourist pass to save the hassle.shops open at about 1000-1100hrs close at late hour 2300hrs.compares money-changer rate, at times you can find a better rates.

Stayed at Empire Kowloon for 2 nights last week. Welcomed by the counter staff with smiley face.Free upgraded to Exec floow. Room is clean and tidy, a bit small for a Malaysian standard (well, i guess smaller room size is a generic issue across the HK hotels). Nice location, you can access to MRT and shopping centres within 10 minutes walking. Restaurants (Chinese Cha Chan Teng/ Dim Sum/ Tai Pai Tong/ Jap Food/ Korean BBQ), Supermarket and convenient store is just downstairs of the hotel. Walking distances to many placves e.g. Star Avenue,Temple street, even Woman street if you enjoy walking.

Additional comments : Overall we are happy with the hotel,location is excellent not too crowded around the area.staffs are friendly and helpful.after shopping you could placed all your bags back to the hotel and walked back again to continue shopping.for dining you walk 5mins to the cafe for congee or noodles.

The hotel is relatively good. It is clean and the bed is comfortable. I cannot say anything bad about its service. We had a very pleasant stay at the said hotel. The hotel staff was very accomodating. The location of the hotel is perfect to the purpose of our travel to Hongkong. It is very near to the best shopping areas in Hongkong.

Location wise is good but the romm and toilet are really small so much so that you have difficulties to change your clothes. However the features are modern such as the lamps and layouts. The security are not too friendy with kids. I would not want to stay there again.

My flight was delayed for a day because of the volcano eruption in Japan. I showed up at the hotel a day late, I've explained the situation to reception and showed her the involuntary re-route ticket that I got from NorthWest airline. She claimed that because I was '2' days late (I've arrived at 12am) and can't provide prove that from the airline that it was involuntary, she took pride in charging me full price on the night when she knows that I've already paid for 1 night for nothing. I would've feel fine with it if the staff would at least do something to make me feel better. How I saw it was she thinks that she had caught me at a bad time (jetlag, tired from the plane delay, had just finished a long flight from LA, and it was 12am in the morning), and took advantage of it. Anytime where the customer feel like they were taken advantage of, they just won't come back. Which is what I did. before I've arrived that night, I've also paid for the night of the 24th. I did not go, I simply don't think this hotel deserve my business anymore. I don't understand why this is a '4 star' hotel, service is bad and there's no slippers in the room (which I'm still amazed about). I guess my point of this review is, if you just needed a place to stay, it's fine. But if you ever need help, just don't expect anything cause' they don't understand that they are in the service industry.
