Good location close to the major shoppingstreet Nathan Road. Nice, friendly staff.
Rooms are a bit small and somewhat rundown.
I stayed in a standard room which was fine compared to the price payed but the rooms would be a bit small for two persons. Good location and friendly staff.

free airport express shuttle. very near to convenient stores and malls
no problem with the hotel. staff very courteous and helpful
I was amazed by how hassle free our trip was with our whole family. We were travelling with 5 children ages: 2,7,11,13 & 14. The airport Express in Kowloon was the best as we checked in our luggages there and proceeded to ride an express train straight to the airport. The hotel's staff was very good and helpful. I was proud as he was a Filipino.
Travel tip : was happy that there is a free airport express shuttle. it made our trip a lot easier and hassle free while traveling with our 5 children

The location of the Hotel is fantastic - close proximity to everything you could possibly want - restaurants, shopping, sightseeing.
We loved everything about our stay at the Empire - personally speaking I couldn't fault our stay there.
We had a truly wonderful stay at the Empire. From the moment we entered the foyer we could not fault anything. We were upgraded to a wonderful room which was a real bonus as well. Staff were fantastic, room and view fantastic - what more can I say.
Restaurant Tip : If you head up to Knutsford Terrace - about a 2 minute walk up Observatory Road - there is a selection of fantastic Restaurants - all different cuisines. We ate at the Island Seafood - awesome food and service.

Location - is not far from shopping area,
Room - is comfortable,
Price - is reasonable
Bathroom - stopper at the lavatory could not sustain the water, the knob of the glass door was loosely.
Even the hotel is located away from Nathan road, the shopping area can be found not far away from hotel. The Airport Express stop is on the opposite of hotel which provide the convenience for visitor to take shuttle bus to Airport Express station and to the Hongkong International Airport. Overall I was satisfied with the hotel with the comfort room, reasonable price and other flexibility. The reception was hospitality, room service was good. Late check-out was courtesy.I was there in June 2009.
Shopping Tip : There are shopping areas not far away from hotel (Grandville road)that sell clothes, perfume. For camera and electronics it is recommended to buy in Mongkok rather than Tsim Tsa Tsui due to the cheating of electronics shop around there.

Never provide drinking water, where most people expect at least 0.5ml in each room.
Bed condition - bumpy, suspect is old bed, where could resulted backache to anyone who sleep on it for hours.
Price is reasonable, distance to MTR station was not too bad. Very very convinient to most places.

Price, Location and staff
It is the first time for me to stay this hotel.
I chose this hotel because of low room rate and
location.Drain in shower room is poor, carpet is
dusty, hair dryer is broken, but it`s OK.I had not expected so much before booking. All staffs in the lobby area are very helpful.
Restaurant Tip : There are many restaurants from high-end to
low-end. Even in low-end restairant, you can enjoy Fuk Lam Moon just in fromt of this hotel
is one of the best Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong
with high price.

It was easy to get the central of city and Tsim Sha Tsui station. A manager of the hotel was kind.
It was too small. When I saw the photo, it looks lager than real size. Besides, there weren't any a bar of soap. I was
I think a hotel is just a hotel, I mean it's not that special place on my trip. I just think I need a place to sleep. Neverthless, if the hotel is too small, I'm dissappointed with it. But the price was quit reasonable, so I don't regret to stay in the hotel.
Restaurant Tip : Delifrance is on the Chatham road soth spot. It was good to have brunch.

In a good location for shopping.
Taxi's are easy to get and all metered.
Good hotel to stay, front desk very polite.
Rooms are small and no space to hang clothes or walk aroun the room, most hotels in Hong Kong are like this.
Most hoel staff unable to speak english being a tourist place.
Empire hotel is in the center of Kowloon and very near the shops and banking disrict.
Rooms are very small with hardly any space to hang clothes or move about in the room.
Hotel staff unable to speek English.
Shopping Tip : Try the Temple Street night market and bargan with the stall owners, good experience.
Also try the food stalls, they do serve good food.

Internet's not free, room service menu is small, kitchen is not 24 hours, it's not that close to an MTR station.
Overall the hotel's not bad, just nothing great about it. Except the price. Really can't complain too much. The room was nice, but the internet not complementary was annoying. Staff was helpful in getting me around town. Even with a hotel card, the taxis can't find the place, so pay attention and tell them where to go. Don't know about the pool/gym etc, didn't use them.
Restaurant Tip : The buffet at the nearby Shangri La is around 405hkd.

Good rooms with view of harbor.
Location is 10-15 minutes from Star Ferry, near Metro stop.
No Wi-Fi. Internet connection through hardwire in room @ $40HKD ($5USD) per hour, or about $17USD for 24 hours.
Rooms are clean, modern, with a good view. A good view costs a bit more, but worth it. Location is good. Breakfast not included, and expensive if purchased in hotel. Good restaurants nearby. I had stayed there 10 days before at a significantly less price with an Internet reservation, yet they would not grant that price. I walked through the rain for about 1/2 mile to an Internet cafe, booked the room through agoda.com , walked back to the hotel and checked in. I'd stay there again, but lack of free Wi-Fi is a big factor for me.
Hotel Feature Tip : Make reservations online or at hotel desk at airport to get the best price.

rooms are comfortable, bar is very relaxing
Really like this hotel the location is very good if you like Kowloon side, close to all the main shopping areas. It is also close to Knutsford Terrace great bar street where you can eat or drink either indoors or out. The staff are very helpful, we got upgrade as we booked 3 rooms. Would certainly stay there again.

Cleanliness and helpful staff
Better mattress would improve long stay customers' experience.
We found the hotel via agoda.com. The location is convenient to most area. The hotel appears to be recently renovated and so very clean. It's a few blocks away Nathan road and the MTR. Hwoever, because of that, it is quieter than other hotels that I have stayed at.
