The night market and Jade market are right close by.
Night market is just the adjecent road to the hotel
Its old and the rooms are very very small.
It was damp and we had no windows in the room.
Its not for the faint at heart.
I guess if you want to do shopping and buy stuff or just backpacking it is just enough for that.
the breakfast was the same everyday. On the good side you can exprience the real street life at the night market and have food which are good prices and beers on the side street food places.
Shopping Tip : the night market is on the adjecent road.

variatons of food during breakfast
Our stay in Evergreen was very pleasant. The Receptionist and Personnels were all friendly and helpful.
This is the first time we stayed in Evergreen. Location is ok although not as good as the other hotel where we have stayed before. The rooms are quite small for a family with 2 kids. They are perfect for couples only. There are very limited choices of food for breakfast though and not much choices for kids.

city center, near night market, thats about it.
I am not a luxury hotel seeker nor back packing budget stay student.
for the price and half decent pictures thought I take my chance at the Ever green at tim sha chui.
room very small and dirty, bedroom smelled and very loud old air vent system.
kept me awake all night.
did not want to get in between to bed sheets.
laid on top , hoping the dawn will arrive so I can get the heck out the hotel.
I even pulled my flight schedule early to get out of Hong kong. horrible breakfast, cheap all the way. serves stale toast with the butter which will not melt on hot toast. Strong warning!!
do not stay at the Ever Green.
worst hotel in my life.

Nightlife Tip : 夜間は周辺に屋台や露天が立ち並び、歩いて散策するだけでも楽しいです。ホテルを出て右方向へ少し歩いた左側にある「松記糖水店」は地元の人に大人気の甘味屋さんです。

It is in Kowloon close to the shopping and eating area.
The smell in the rooms was so bad we tried to find another hotel that night in Kowloon. We ended up getting a hotel for the next night in Whangchai. Even though there was no refund from Everrgreen hotel.
The rooms are small, very smelly, older style hotel with low ceilings. The staff helpful and apologetic. Did not eat there. It is in Kowloon close to the shopping and eating area. Cheap, but not cheap enough to stay there with that terrible smell.
Hotel Feature Tip : Dont stay here - the smell is soo bad, you will have to leave that night.

Evergreen Hotel is near the MTR, convenience to shopping, eating and easy to go to somewhere. the price is inexpensive. be enough to pay for that price. Difficult to find the hotel when you arrive at the first time. The room in the hotel is not big, but it's ok for me. for the next time, I will go to this hotel again.
Shopping Tip : Near the template street, There are many shops that sell everything.

Good location, clean rooms, friendly and accomodating staffs.
Breakfast menu could be improved.
This is a great budget hotel located in the Jordan area and just a few minutes away from the shopping district of Tsim Sha Tsui. It's also just a short walk away from the Jordan MTR station. The rooms are very clean and just of the right size and not too cramped as compared to most budget hotels in HK. The hotel also provides free use of internet. The staffs are very friendly and accommodating. Overall, our stay was very satisfying and would stay here again next time.
Shopping Tip : The hotel is located next to the Temple Street night market.

Convenient location, friendly staff, good value
Very small rooms, thin walls.
Conveniently located near the A21 bus stop from the airport and the Jordan MTR station. It is also literally only a stone's throw away from the Temple Street market. Affordable eateries abound along Temple Street and there is also the respectable Mido Cafe nearby. The hotel is also right next door to a convenience store which makes it very, well convenient! Hotel staff were very friendly, always greeting us whenever we arrived from a busy days sightseeing. The hotel also surprised us with a one day free breakfast buffet which was not mentioned when we made the booking. The hotel can be a bit difficult to find for first timers however. Also the room is really just a place to sleep. Open the door and there's the bed. But then what would you expect for the price? The walls are also a bit thin as you can hear people entering/exiting their rooms.
Restaurant Tip : Try the Mido Cafe just off Temple Street.

Very helpful staff, very clean rooms and very near MTR
The breakfast buffet needs variety and improvement in the preparation. The rooms were very small
Having read a lot of reviews of hotels in Hong kong, there are many horror stories to take note of. I dont know what to expect when I booked at the Evergreen Hotel in Kowloon. But I was taken by surprised that the rooms that me and my friends occupied were very clean, fresh towels were provided everyday, the staff were very helpful in giving directions. The front desk staff were able to communicate good english.
Travel tip : Temple street is a famous night market in Kowloon and it is a parallel street from Evergreen Hotel.Aside from shopping you can also try fresh seafood at temple St. You can seat side by side with other caucasians, it simply a enjoyable experience and a sight to see.

Kind of a long walk from the nearest MTR station.
If you are looking for a budget and clean hotel, then evergreen is the hotel to go. It it much cleaner then other lower 2-3 start hotel. The only down side is near many saunas, and the MTR is kind of far.

Cheap and clean! Free Internet and clean room
Location. the hotel is located in a location that is hard to find.
I come to hong kong at leat 7 times a year and I will have to say for the price that this hotel charged. It is a good deal, the rooms are clean with free internet room. I will definally come back and stay at evergreen again.
Restaurant Tip : there are many cheap noodle places around the hotel.

Location, price, services, kindness and competence of the staff.
When I arrived in downtown Hong Kong by bus I immediately found the hotel and I was very pleased by the attention of the staff and the excellent location of the hotel. I will only for these reasons recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Hong Kong alone, with a partner or children.
