Big nice hotel at Causeway bay
Nice business district location

Overall stay is very good, nice and friendly staff. However, it is a bit hard to get a taxi in the morning due to financial district area.

Best Hotel accommodation and location in Hongkong
interior of hotel is nice, beds have clean sheets and very comfortable, good service

this is part of mandarin orietal group, but is feeling a little dated . while beds are excellent and rooms comfortable. it feels like a 1980's hotel and its time for a renovation. worth paying extra for delux harbourview rooms, but bathrooms very small with shower over bathtub, single basin and toilet all crammed in together. its location (harbour views and close causeway bay mtr) is its big advantage.

Great location for Causeway Bay shopping

2nd time staying at the Excelsior hotel. Rooms are clean, but nothing special, which we know, so no disappoinment there. Picked this hotel for the location - as the trip was a girls shopping trip.
Shopping Tip:
Sogo Causeway Bay is the largest Sogo in Hong Kong, 2 blocks behind the hotel

Great location
Right in the centre of Causeway Bay, with easy access to the MTR, and loads of good food into the wee hours of the night

It was the Soccer Seven weekend and the hotel was packed. Not only with the airline crew and the mainland Chinese but rowdy fans or players of the Soccer Seven. Despite the crowd, the service was not impacted. Check in and check out were done smoothly. However, the lobby was always very noisy and packed with people.

Beautiful view of the harbour, breakfast buffet excellent spread, super soft bed and pillow

we stayed 2 nights at excelsior, standard room. our room was the corner room, though oddly shaped and a little smaller than we expected, the room felt nice and cozy.
what is most important to me when i stay at a hotel is the comfort of the bed and pillows. and i must say, my partner had to forcefully tear me from the bed to go shopping.
toilet is very well lit and spacious enough, even with the bathtub. be careful when you fiddle with the hot and cold water knobs, the water takes some time to change temperature.
loved the location. 3mins walk from sogo, 5mins from f21.
