I have never stayed at Excelssior Hotel. Nevertheless, I decided to try it out recently simply bacause i have meetings at Causeway Bay. It was a pleasant surprise as I found the hotel to be at great location, room is clean with fantastic view and smoking rooms are available.

worth for the money
good location with good bar/restaurant on the top floor

It is really worth for the money to stay in this hotel, even though the hotel is quite old already, but they manage to mantain agood standard. The location is also convenient for people who come to Hong Kong for business or leisure... Walking distance to some bars and restaurants, and shopping area. The room is also good size and clean. Really recommended.
