Haven't stayed at the Gateway for more than 1 year, due to the ever increasing prices of HK hotels. I'd almost forgotten how impeccable and efficient the service was. The hotel is older than some of the other ones in Tsim Sha Tsui, but a very pleasant experience, nonetheless. However, quite expensive for what you get.
Service, cleanliness, proximity to shopping, etc.
A little old in decor and furnishings.

The room was large with adequate space for shopping finds. The room was very clean with nice carpeting and beds.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Marco Polo Gateway Hotel and I will certainly recommend this hotel to all travellers.
- Shopping Tip : Harbour City Mall is connected to the Ocean Terminal Mall. Opposite the hotel is the Silvercord Tower where you can find convenient fast food at the basement.

If I would come back Hong Kong, I would prefer to stay in the Hong Kong central with better deal and newer and better condition hotels.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : This is a great location near the ferry station.
