Location location location
The Luk Kwok hotel is ideally situated near to Many restaurants, the Convention Centre and the Centre for the performing arts. Staff were helpful and friendly and the room service was good

I was in Hong Kong to go to see Cats at the Lyric Theatre. The hotel was just across the street so very convenient. The MTR was close and there are many restaurants nearby. The breakfast at the hotel was expensive but there is a Starbucks and other similar places in the same block as the hotel. I had the lamb chops for room service and they were delicious. All in all good value for money and I would stsy there again.

Very good option for Wanchai
Very well located. Rooms are very recent, sillent and very good.

An hotel located at the door of a MTR station (Wanchai) in the core of the shopping area of Central Hong Kong is always very good. But this hotel is also clean, recent and very good for taking a rest at the end of the day. Fully reccomended.
Restaurant Tip:
Outbaback Restaurant, Starbuck's Coffee and Delifrance are at 2 minutes walking

A pleasant stay
The location is good. The Airpport Express stops almost at the front door. That saves a taxi going to the Hong Kong Station check in. The staff are helpful and pleasant.

We had a pleasant stay as the staff were helpful. I asked to have a late check out due to the late flight and there was no problem. This was really good because many hotels would not agree. The room was clean and quite big as compared to a lot of hotel rooms. Location was good too and it was easy to go shopping and public transport was easy to access. I would saty again if the rate is good.
Travel tip:
Use the Airport Express Conncection to go to the hotel without having to pay for a raxi.

Good Location, Reasonably Priced

Luk Kwok Hotel is in the heart of the Wanchai business district, very close to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, walking distance. Room are spacious compared to other business hotels in Hong Kong. Recently renovated, the rooms are clean and up to date and elegantly designed. The staff are very helpful as well. Sometimes the hotel is expensive depending on the season and doesn't offer bang for the buck.

Luk Kwok Hotel - Hong Kong Island (Gloucester Road
Well situated with easy access to underground and Star Ferry to Kowloon. Very clean and smart hotel and the staff were excellent and easily managed when we asked them to make restaurant reservations for us.

The hotel was very central for most purposes. It was immaculately clean, smart and contemporary decorated. The staff were courteous, efficient and friendly. The cost was acceptable but certainly not cheap. If you are expecting a bedroom of some size, you may be disappointed, the rooms are exceptionally comfortable but not very big.
Restaurant Tip:
The American Restaurant serves great authentic Chinese food at a good price. It is only 150 metres or so from the hotel and ask the hotel staff to book a table for you. They didn't flinch when we asked them to do it for us. You wont regret it. We paid just over GBP100 for a sumptuous banquet chosen from the substantial menu. It was for four people but could have fed 6 comfortably!

Located in the heart of Wan Chai, its a stone throw to all kinds of eateries, public transport, and convenience stores, so that's great. Its a $20 taxi to Central and Causeway Bay either way and 10 minutes to Hong Kong Station for transit to Airport, really convenient and in the middle of everything. It is very quiet and we were upgraded to the newly furnished rooms on 21st floor with a good view. Staff were always helpful and not fussy. I had booked for the Holiday Inn but canceled and moved here instead.

- Unfriendly behavour: I checked out early in the morning (7 AM) because of an early flight. My girlfriend stayed in the room. Despite me asking the lobby not to disturb my girlfriend, and their confirmation to this, and their call to somebody(assume the room house keeping department), they still woke her up every half-an-hour and asked her "if not time to leave". She left the hotel and called to me. No good feeling neither for her or me. I don't know if I will stay there again because of this.
Nightlife Tip:
There is a nice life band bar called Amazone around the corner. They play various hard rock and pop songs, 4+ in performance. There is no cover charge and the drinks are reasonable.

This stay was one of the friendliest I've had in Hong Kong. All staff were courteous and very helpful. All rooms are 19th floor or above, so it's guaranteed to be fairly peaceful, although you're never going to get a full harbor view (always obstructed). Only problem was no water in the (small) fitness center, but this was quickly sorted out. Would definitely stay there again.
Restaurant Tip:
Indian Vegetarian Khana Khazana just behind hotel on Lockhart Rd. Excellent food, large portions.

Overall: if for tourism would recommend to try a cheaper one as they don't offer breakfast, charge for the two bottles of water.

Best thing that I like about this hotel is it's location, it is conveniently located near Wan Chai MRT station. Looking for food is no problem as well as it's in a commercial area and there is a lot of eateries to accommodate the office crowd. Staffs are quite helpful, it's easy to ask for directions from them. Rooms are clean, furnishing is modern although this is a hotel with a long history (around 60-70 years), but I think like other smaller hotels in HK, the rooms are a tad small but I have no problems with that. It's also located near the HK Convention center and you can go to Victoria City for Dim Sum. The only complain that I have is there seems like there's no good shopping places nearby, I have to take the MRT to Times Square.
