this hotel is beautyful. we even got our room upgraded because they had a bigger one. and it was free of charge:) the view is great and so is the location. the pool is just amazing! very big. was impressed by the beach there too. the gold coast of hong kong is actually a really nice area. and if ur going i think the best place to stay is this hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : beautful little mall right down the street. beach and pool is a must.. and easy to get around so go see disneyland it is awesome:

- great pool area - buffet prices were high We liked this hotel so much, we bought a night away for my husband's sister. She had a great time- we live in China and she said the Gold Coast Hotel was the best night's sleep she's had since being in China. She liked it so much that another friend of our has now booked a night away. Basically, great hotel, great location to get away from the hustle and bustle of HK. Great pool area, cute restaurants nearby. Everything a nice resort should have...the Gold Coast has. I highly recommend it.

Was clean and friendly, close to the beach and bus. Too far from everything although it is easy to get to the mrt, just takes time. I was there on a business trip so I found it quite inconvenient to be in such an isolated area, although once I figured out the transit system I was able to get around quite easily, although it was very time consuming. If you have time to kill and want to combine relaxing and the beach with going into the city once in a while, it is a good option, but if you want to be near the city, it doesn't really work. I still recommend it though, as it did work for me even though I did have t take the bus to get to thetrains. A good place to stay if you have kids as they offer many things for children and with the proximity of the beach.
