Nice experience overall with comfortable room settings, nice views and relaxing atmosphere, coupled with Easter decorations.
Happy stay for 1 day, had chance to stroll around and a number of restaurants nearby, also in reasonable travel distance to shop outlets in the city centre. Good for a weekend holiday for relaxing. Staff service and attitude modest.

Easy access to the beach; easy transportation to/from HK Island; great views.

The hotel staff (especially those at the concierge desk) were extremely helpful throughout. Hotel is located a distance from HK Island. Nice promenade and boardwalk along the shore. Hourly shuttles to the city. Didn't use the pool as it is only open during daylight hours. Lots of families. Rooms were very spacious.

It is not the first time I have been there and it was as good as those times I went there with my boyfriend. This is such an awesome hotel with great service. Apart from the service, food is good. You can choose between buffet beside the swimming pool or a restaurant with live band at night. Nice place to chill with friends or your love. Some of the rooms even include a balcony.

Should have specialised person for Planning your sightseeing or Shopping trip.

we stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. it is a very good hotel with nice, clean rooms and good food. very nice staff. excellent views from the room. hotel is on the golden beach which is another plus.
but, it is extremely inconvenient to stay here as it is located way outside main city. it is located at a very quite and secluded area where you need to be very careful how you will go to other places and how you will return. most possibly you will end up spending heavy amount on transportation. also, there is no good place to go out around hotel except the golden beach and you will have to go long way to reach anywhere in hong kong. dining around the place is also a big challenge. you must buy this hotel along with breakfast as there are no places to eat and most specifically for vegetarians.
not a right place to stay if you are looking to 'just see this, talk to local people and buy that'. you should consider it if you just want to relax in and around hotel without much sightseeing and local interactions.
cost of hotels airport transfer is 110hkd per person and this is cheapest option. taxi would be around 230 hkd per person. we found this on the higher side.
it requires around 45-50 minutes to reach hongkong central by bus. bus is the most convenient option for daily travel to hongkong as taking taxi everyday would prove very costly and for that much price you can take hotel in main hong kong area.
nearest bus stand is around 1km away which needs to be covered by walk and nearest metro is tun mun. also, tun mun is not on the main line and you have change atleast one train in between to reach hong kong. taxi to tun mun is hkd 25. another important station is ysing yi which is around 25 min by taxi and 40 min by bus. you need to reach ysing yi to take airport express to airport/ asiaworld expo/ hongkong which is very costly train(almost hkd 100 per ride per person).
overall just meant for lazy leisure stay in hk & should be avoided if traveling with children.
Restaurant Tip:
For Vegetarians there is a good restaurant nearby hotel which is very convenient for dinners. I think the name is breezers and its near 7Eleven store in Gold Coast Shopping mall.

It is second time we stayed at this hotel.This time we were upgraded to balcony room.But this time hotel's shuttle buses to the city are not free,it is $20HKD per seat(even for kids).And Kids' Club also was not free.But rooms are big and nice.There is a great pool with slides for kids.
Just 5 minutes walking to the shopping center, where are different kinds of restaurants,food supermarket,7/11.
Hotel location is far from city center,but it is great to get some relaxation.

a good hotel shuttle service from airport - but it takes about 40 minutes... is much further than i thought. the hotel is large with good facilities and very comfortable room. had balcony overlooking marina and islands.
hotel is remote - 45 minutes by bus to hk island.
but overall it is a good option for transit / overnight , or just something different. some good eating options locally in gold coast area.
