It was a great experience far enough from the hustle and bustle of everything yet still perfect to party and have a good time even there local. plenty to look at and perfect for a couple if you are a couple.

The motel was value for money thanks to Agoda! It is not quite up to 5* ranking probably because of its being old. The rooms had an odor...mustiness. But the sea view was nice...the staff were friendly. Our biggest complaint is that it is too far from everything...one must take a taxi plus the MTR to get back into Kowloon or Hong Kong Island.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take the Cable Car Ride to the Big Buddha...its worth every penny...fantastic views...and ride. Go early to beat the mid day crowds!

Big room and great view
Close to airport, view is great, facilities are amazing

I believe all rooms come attached with the private balcony, to me it was great add on as after a long day out, you could enjoy the sea view and cool breeze without walking too far.
Room service price vs quality is acceptable.

My grade is 6-7 out of 10.
Hotel is cheap and value for the money. It is not in the city center but there are buses close to the hotel. Hotel is old. You can chose the room with balcony for enjoy outside.

Great beach resort hotel near the airport.

This resort hotel is fabulous if you are looking for somewhere to overnight that is sort of near the airport. It is also one of the few resort hotels we have found in Hong Kong. The grounds are lovely with large swimming pools and the hotel sits right next to the beach. A short walk away is a lovely area of restaurants overlooking the marina and a great fair trade shop is open Tuesday to Saturday just up the road.
The room are lovely, some with balconies overlooking the sea.
We often use this hotel for our one night stay on the way back through Hong Kong on the trip home, a great, relaxing evening and then a shuttle bus back to the airport.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
it's a must to use the side gate from the swimming pool to exit to the path leading to the beach and the Golden Dolphin.

very large, very comfortable room with great ocean view. staff friendly and helfull as needed. stayed as good value for a long weekend between working schedules. as a resort hotel would be great, off season a little cold in atmosphere as a big space with few people, even over weekend. asian restaurant very good, coffee shop/western restaurant average or below in standard. service especially poor in terms of attention or respect of guests. quite involved to travel into hk kowloon or hk island. taxi is about hkd290 one way, train is cheaper but takes over 40 minutes. nearest stations are approx 20m by ytaxi or some shuttle service infrequently.
Restaurant Tip:
Short walk. well signposted, to marina is well worth it. many restaurants, cofee shops and supemarket.

Overall, the Hotel is very nice place to relax. The rooms are big and clean. They could have done better in terms of the channel selection in the cable tv. The ambience in and out of the hotel is very nice. You could go for a jog just outside of the hotel along the beach. The staff are helpful and friendly

A good escape from hectic HK

This is a good place to escape HK. The hotel faces the sea, and is just by the beach. I preferred the pool to the beach, as the beach is a little dirty nad the pool area is warmer (this was mid-November). The restaurants at the hotel are OK, but they are priced as if they were far better than what they are. Instead, go to the places on the beach, close to the hotel.

I spent a few days with my Son, who unfortunately had to go to hospital. During this difficult time, the hotel staff and management were really helpful, nice and accompanied us to hospital and cared for us nights and days! Amazing! Given the circumstances, we enjoyed our stay and we will return for sure! It is a nice hotel, near the beach, good for a relaxing time and the service and staff are great.

Nice Hotel, good environment. Recommended for family or couple stay for a long week-end!
