Quite Location away from City noise, Good size room with Balcony, All leisure facilities, hotel transport to and from city, near airport
too far from city, no metro nearby
Our stay was only one night, our room was upgraded, room was large with a large bacony with sea view.Any one staying longer will definately enjoy accomodation and hotel facilities at a very reasonable price. We used hotel's complementary bus to and from city but journey was about 45 minutes. Tranfer to airport was expensive at $180 each which is near to the cost of a taxi if you are two passangers.Services were very high standard as you would expect in a five star hotel but some of the websites gave this hotel 4star only!
Personally if you are on holiday with the family, I would strongly recommend this hotel.

well equipped fitness centre, large pool, and steam room
not much to say about this.
This is my first time staying at this hotel and I really enjoy the service and facilities that the hotel has to offer. There are many restaurants near the hotel, and we enjoy our dinner at a French restaurant there. It's nice getaway from bustling city.

Nice Swimming pool and many choices in BF.
Would like to recommend my friends to join this speical offer during this special period , only offering price goes to HKD 709.00 / night.
That will bring them happy firday night!
But one more thing is that a room to get better service if it can be allowed to extend late check-out till 2 pm or 3 pm.

very very good sea view no matter which type of room you are stayinging in. Relaxing environment and nice dinner buffet.
this is my 1x th stay in this hotel and agoda offers the best price ! A 5* hotel with a 3* price, worth staying and have a break from the city.
Hotel Feature Tip : this hotel is definitely for city bresk only...not for shoppers or business travellers. However it's very convient since there's suttle bus every hour to Tsim Sha Tsui (shopping area) and the journey tooks around 35 mins (max.).

clean
very elegant main entrance and main hall
too far from the city centre
Other than being a bit too far from the city, this is a hotel worth staying in. It was clean, nice king sized bed, and fairly good sea view. There are decent restaurants in the nearby plaza. The beach was a little disappointing however.

Nice rooms, nice pool, attractive surroundings. Local eateries nearby.
A little expensive for drinks, but as said before not far to walk for cheaper alternative.
This hotel is beautiful, it looks over the marina and views from the rooms are stunning. The rooms are spotless, as is the hotel. The pool is lovely with sun loungers all around. There is also access to a beach. You can get a taxi from the airport (green one) or the Sino group also do a bus. There is a Sino hotel desk at the airport and they are extremely helpful. If you are in Hong Kong and wish to stay somewhere lovely and relaxing- this is the place!
Restaurant Tip : For a cheaper meal walk around to the local plaza.
It offers a variety of different eating establishments.

Childrens facilities, location, gardens
The Gold Coast Hotel has the potential to be a great hotel. Unfortunately the staff training is eratic. Some staff are excellent; others are lack lustre, verging on rude. If this could be changed it would be fantastic as the facilities are really good. My son had an excellent time with the water slide and swimming pool and the childrens play areas (be sure to check the one over to the far left (looking down from the hotel) of the gardens) are really very good. His motor skill development was noticably improved in the short time that we stayed there and he played on them.
Hotel Feature Tip : The kides play areas are excellent - especially the larger of the two, be sure to check it out.

Excellent seaview from the hotel. As this's my husband's birthday, the hotel staff upgraded the balcony room for us.
However, the room is a bit old with NO DVD which needed to be rented for HK$150 per day!!! Terrible indeed!
I think the room is quite good and the staffs are helpful so far. At the time of taking the rooms, the staff had made mistakes on my room arrangment and even forgot to give us the breakfast tickets. However, we got quite a nice room with balcony at the end and enjoy the seaview with my husband much! Just a reminder that there is an hourly shuttle bus service with limited seats only, hence just make your bookings as early as possible each day to make sure you can go out with the shuttle bus because the hotel is so far, far away from Kowloon and Hong Kong Island!!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You have to pay attention to the time needed to spend on travelling from and to the hotel as the hotel is located in Castle Peak Road which is far away from Kowloon and Hong Kong Island!

The Gardens -beautiful & well maintained!
The Food Quality & Variety was very acceptable!
The rooms & the views.
The general standard of hygiene -throughout the facility.
The customer service attitude of the staff at reception and the dining room.
Proximity to the beach, the prom. and the town.
I dislike paying a premium price for internet connection -additional to hotel charges!
The breakfast is served only until 10:30 AND I felt a bit unwelcome , when we arrived after 10:10. The restaurant staff were too keen and repiticious in reminding us of the finishing time of the buffet breakfast.
This is a good location for a relaxing break near to Hong Kong. The facility is generally good, the location is great and the gardens are beautiful. Most of the staff were very helpful, polite and well trained. The duet from the Philippines, which provided the nightly entertainment in the lounge, was competent and charming, without being intrusive.
However, we had the underlying feeling that some management and/or staff had not fully understood one basic business principle. That is that "Staff are Cost and Customers are Revenue". This was most noticeable in the dining room at breakfast, where their focus on finishing at 10:30 bordered on the obsessive.
Would we return there for a quick break from HK? YES!
Restaurant Tip : We visited a nearby restaurant at the "marina" area. Our first two choices were not available from their menu. Finally I opted for the cod (fish). It appeared ok but it was very lightly cooked. I was tempted to send it back BUT I didn’t. My stomach is still upset 5 days later! Recommendation: If in doubt, send it back!

Fanastic staff and setting for romantic getaway.
Buffet for breakfast is superb. Hotel is well kept and maintined. Room is small but to small and abthroom had a tub which wss nice. Man made beach walkway close for evening stroll.
Not much in area to do in my opinion out side outs side.
I would say this is s perfect hotel for kids in so many aspects. The pool the beach and the hotel play ground and day room all count in this. I was surprised with this as I think of a 5 star hotel as more so aimed at a different guest type. My wife enjoyed the spa and would like to recommend it to everyone
Shopping Tip : Carry the hotel card so you may give to the taxi for return trip to Hotel makes things way easier.

Amazing views from balcony
Convenient location surrounded by shops and restuarants
Huge rooms and washrooms
Great customer service and friendly staff
Excellent facilities
No motorised watersports for hire from the hotel or nearby yachtclub
This top class hotel has breathtaking balcony seaviews. It has huge spacious rooms with an amazing bathroom. The friendly hotel staff made our stay at the hotel sucha a pleasure. The location was convenient and superb in so many ways almost like a secluded paradise. The surrounding restaurants and shopping strip was a walking distance away(Yay). The food at the Gold Coast Hotel was 5 star-always, especially their Chilli 'n Spice cuisine on the waterfront. The hotel is a stone throw away from the beach and was equipped with 5 star amenities like tennis courts, pools, a spa, a gym and much much more.Huge variety on Room service menu and was completly affordable. The free hotel shuttle bus made travelling to and from the hotel so easy and efficient. We spent most of our vacation in Hong Kong at This 5 star hotel and would definatly go back if/when we return to Hong Kong
Hotel Feature Tip : Always choose the best the hotel has to offer(eg. Grand Deluxe rooms) there's a definate reason why its costs more but you're guaranteed the best.Excellent value for money
