Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.
We want you to pay the lowest possible rate for your room. If you have reserved a hotel room through Agoda, and then show us that you could book the same room, for the same dates, at a lower rate, that is viewable and bookable on another website, within 48 hours of booking your room with us, we will either match that rate or beat it. I stayed in a room with a king-size bed, and it was big enough and comfortable.
There was some leftover (an apple with tooth mark and a canned juice with a straw) in the frig when I arrived. A toilet clogged twice both on the 1st and 2nd night.
It was a comfortable room, but it seemed that staff are not well trained. I wonder if they reported such troubles to their manager, because there is no improvement or feedback during my stay.

The courtesy and warmth of personnel
The hotel isolated and off the beaten path to malls and shopping areas
For a hotel that charges around US400 just for the cheapest rooms, you'd expect the Hong Kong Grand Hyatt to be the best in its class. Back in the 90's I was one of her most ardent customers. She had impressive bathrooms, best creature comforts, etc. I havent stayed at Grand Hyatt in over 10 years and I was surprised to see that they havent upgraded at all. The TV set is still the old cumbersome tube type, the bedside light switches are faulty and carpeting is worn. Prime hotels like the Grand Hyatt must always be on the forefront of the latest features and amenities. Nest time I visit Hong Kong, I'd rather stay at "W"
Travel tip : Stay at this hotel if you're watching a concert at the Convention center
