Rooms, value for money- can do with some coffee in the room

Rooms is good and value for money. Breakfast suck which included in room charges. Food in restaurants is not up to mark.
Have stayed in this hotel quite a few times over the last 2 yrs.

This is the first time I could stay in the exclusive room at 16F with good price. Maybe because I checked in late, about 5-6PM; therefore, they give me an exclusive room to stay, better than standard room so much.
The view is also very nice from 16floor with good facilities in room better than other rooms.
I think that hotel should improve all room facilities which is similar like this to get more customer to stay in this hotel.

Nice room with cute decoration, good television and other facilities.

The room was very nice, the hotel is very near to shopping centers and very near to MTR.
Our room accomodation was Executive Deluxe but was very small despite of higher price compared to standard rooms, before we stayed with standard rooms and was twice as big the Executive Deluxe.
They charge almost US$20 for 24 hours use of internet, very expensive, they should have free internet access.
Nightlife Tip:
right infront and beside hotel are nice bars for yuppies to hang out at night, very near to Avenue of Stars

hotel was only a few blocks from hong kong harbor. it was less than a 10 minute walk to the star ferry terminal. the metro was really close to, less than a 3 minute walk. the hotel worked fine for my sister and i. a three star rating is accurate. had a nice lobby but no where to really lounge.

The hotel is good. Location is great. Just in the center of Tsim Sha Tsui. There are many bars around hotel at Prat Ave and Hart Ave. My room has been upgraded for free. Reception staff is OK but maids are very noisy. They speak loudly in the morning so I could not sleep. Also it would be better to equip rooms with minimum set of kitchen tools like spoons, forks and knives.
Shopping Tip:
Vanguard supermarket 100 meters right from entrance.

Happy with this place
Nice and clean, close to MRT, in Middle of Kowloon, quiet

The Hotel was clean and safe. The beds were hard but the room was very clean and as we booked with AGODA we paid a low rate.
We had no view which is not a problem as it meant no noise from Traffic. The Hotel in right in the middle of Kowloon so very close to everything.

I travel to HK offen from China like 2 times a month, GuangDong hotel is always my first choice due to very reasonable prices with good location and room is reasonable size compare to nowadays all those new small fushion hotel,
HK is expensive, especially during high season, small hotel can easily push up to US$300, but Guangdong is normally 15% to 20% lower then the other, therefore, I love to put them on my first chioce, beside, they have a good looby with enouhg space, you may see your visit there instand of pbring them up to your small room. I would say it is a good hotel for businessman.

GuangDong don't provide free internet.

Average hotel in an excellent location

The Guangdong Hotel is an average 3 star hotel situated in a very congested area. The basic standard room is very small. We had to upgrade to a deluxe room on a nonsmoking floor. If you book a basic room, you are invisible to the reception staff. The minute we upgraded, they were tripping over themselves to accommodate us. They should treat all their guests with equal respect and courtesy. The location is close to everything - shops, restaurants, ferry, subway.
I would not book this hotel if my stay is longer than 2 days and only if I get a good deal.

We found the hotel through the internet and searched according to location. We stayed there with our 4 months old daughter and all in all the 3 nights were very comfortable for us. For a relatively low price we got all we needed. Definately recommend this hotel for short stays.

the hotel is conveniently located on prat ave. which is a five minute walk to the mtr and the east kcr station. the rooms are clean but we had to request for bath towels since none were provided. the rooms were quite small for the price we paid. the toilets were clean and all toiletries 9except for bath towels) were complete. i will stay in this hotel again.
