I was welcomed by friendly and helpful staff who could understand me, which was great! The reception area was well organised and open. The concierge was great.The lifts were pretty quick up to my floor. My room was well appointed with mini bar and safe. It was nice and clean and cool.
It was only a couple of mins from the station so very nice and central. Will stay there again.
Travel tip:
easy access from trains but note that Carnavon street leads into Prat at the intersection - it is not immediately clear as Prat is not on a sign post.

Convinient, and centrally located

HAve been staying here a few times for business trip, Like the location, it's situated next to tones of stores and restaurants, short walk to the subway and the pier.
The price was affordable, the staffs are very helpful, rooms were spacious and reasonably clean.
The only downside I could think of is the flat pillow and a window that can't be opened.

I stayed in this hotel many many time, but only 1 time I can check-in early eventhought now it is not the "hot" season. I always have to check in after 2.30PM. However, there are some good for this hotel, those are the good location for everything such as shopping, dinner, drinking and relaxing, next is the acceptation service and price, room is also ok for short time biz trip.
Nightlife Tip:
Good place for have warmly dinner

Not bad at all!
Good shuttle service & public transport from air port.
A convenient location to shopping, a late snack & the ferries.

The Guandong hotel is just bellow average for a 4 star HK hotel. The biggest gripe I had last time was that they forgot my morning call, missed the shuttle & nearly missed a flight, not happy.
On the up side the location makes up for a lot, if you like a bit of bussle & a late drink in a good "Irish" bar. It is all there, 24/7 supermarket & convinience stores as well as a number of restaurants, bars & clubs. Shoping is good too but this is HK so shoping is good most antwhere here.
Restaurant Tip:
Eat out, water too, no free water bottles.

Our Guandong Hotel Experience

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the rooms were priced competitively and were all clean and comfortable and the location was great because it was at the center of major shopping and tourist spots. I would generally recommend this hotel to our tourist friends and we are definitely coming back to this hotel on our next visit.
Shopping Tip:
Check out the DMA shopping mall near the hotel for very good bargains for teenagers and young adults.

Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from MTR station. From the airport, you could either take airport express to Kowloon station and transfer free airport bus to park hotel which is located behind the hotel. Your can find many eating places around the hotel as well. Would consider this hotel for my next visit...

the hotel looks nicer than before i was there 5 to 8 years ago , it has improved a lot. its well lighted, rooms are clean, there's alot of stores nearby and the area seems alive 24/7. the price is reasonable ,

A good choice when you have no others choices
Great location. Good choice when all the others hotels are booked and price are artificially high due to fairs and exhibits happening at that time. Make sure you have renovated rooms on executives floor (11th floor has renovated room)

Low class design, need to buy internet card at the business center, which mean going down to the lobby again since no one has told this until you find once in your room.
