Guangdong Hotel arranged for me to stay at 11floor this time, it is the exclusive floor and everything is better than other normal floor.
However, there are still some items need to improve which is shower gel and bath gel should be better, because using shower gel and bath gel make dry for hair and skin. It is not good for hair and skin.
Their service is very good, the television is not good in last time and I called them for reparation. It is just only 15 mins for reparation even though it is very late.

Guandong hotel has a very nice location, accessible to train and bus ride, good location for shopping and other late night shopping and activities. The hotel room rates fitted our budget and Most especially the rooms are clean. We didnt get to try the food in the hotel because it has easy access to a lot of restaurants too, maybe in our next stay we will explore dinning in the hotel. The hotel staff are efficient and friendly.

too pricey..
nice location, very close to shopping and restaurant

best feature of the hotel is the location. nice building looks good outside.the elevator was scary.. very old. needs more cleaning in the hotel hallway and even in the room. i guess all the hotel in hongkong is small..the bed is horrible. we woke up with backache. but i guess for the price per stay too pricey. not what i expected. the pictures dont give any justice. need to update the pictures

The room was fairly basic. No surprises at all. All a bit outdated in terms of furniture, bed and bathroom. Could use a bit of a clean and updating. Location is good, very central and close to the underground. Quite a few bars around this area and some decent restaurants. There's an airport shuttle close to the hotel which turn out to be very convenient about 45 mins. Overall the stay was fine, the staff is efficient albeit the decor and the rooms are a bit outdated.

i stay alot in the hotels in HK but 1st time i saw no complimentry water or tea coffee etc.....

I stayed at this Hotel again 2nd in this week. However, there are small thing need to improve is this season is winter and weather is a little cold in Hong Kong.
Therefore, hotel should supply more body lotion in each room for guest to use because it is not expensive and other hotels which I stay, they always supply whole year. Second, hotel should supply tea bag and coffe bag in each room for guest to use every morning, it is also cheap in Hong Kong.

I was very surprise on this time when I stay at Guangdong Hotel. When I arrived hotel at around 11AM and they accepted for me to check-in and stay at that time. If anytime is the same this time, I think that this hotel is very very good.

the hotel was nice because I got upgraded . it was a nice room and small but clean and comfortable. Not much of a view other than the street below. But if you are looking of value and clean...i highly recommend it

Great Value
Excellent value, easy access to major streets. Room size for HK is pretty good.

All in all, this hotel is an excellent value hotel. The location is easy to find, and it is within easy walking distance of Nathan road. Plus there are several MTR entrances within a few blocks of the hotel.
The room itself isn't spectacular, but given that most people will be only using this as a place to sleep and shower, it is a pretty reasonably sized room. I originally booked the cheapest room, but got updated to a "Deluxe" room. However, I believe that most of the rooms are "Deluxe" and that it is more of a PR statement.
The shower curtains did smell moldy in my room. The hair dryer is weak so consider bringing your own. Don't expect much of a view from the hotel either.
Bottom line - if you're looking for a hotel with good location and excellent value, this is a place worth considering.

It's very convenient to get food and to MTR station.Would strongly recommend to those first time to HK. Easy to move around staying at this hotel and you tend to save a lot on transportation as it is located within walking distance.Family with chidren would find the location friendly as one can get children's food easily
Shopping Tip:
wholesale shop which sells all kinds of items to tourists.
