I stayed at this Hotel again 2nd in this week. However, there are small thing need to improve is this season is winter and weather is a little cold in Hong Kong.
Therefore, hotel should supply more body lotion in each room for guest to use because it is not expensive and other hotels which I stay, they always supply whole year. Second, hotel should supply tea bag and coffe bag in each room for guest to use every morning, it is also cheap in Hong Kong.

Check-in time improvement I was very surprise on this time when I stay at Guangdong Hotel. When I arrived hotel at around 11AM and they accepted for me to check-in and stay at that time. If anytime is the same this time, I think that this hotel is very very good.

Excellent value, easy access to major streets. Room size for HK is pretty good. That said, room size isn't that big either. No Wi-Fi, have to use the in room ethernet cable (and I believe the cost was $150HKD for 24 hours). All in all, this hotel is an excellent value hotel. The location is easy to find, and it is within easy walking distance of Nathan road. Plus there are several MTR entrances within a few blocks of the hotel.
The room itself isn't spectacular, but given that most people will be only using this as a place to sleep and shower, it is a pretty reasonably sized room. I originally booked the cheapest room, but got updated to a "Deluxe" room. However, I believe that most of the rooms are "Deluxe" and that it is more of a PR statement.
The shower curtains did smell moldy in my room. The hair dryer is weak so consider bringing your own. Don't expect much of a view from the hotel either.
Bottom line - if you're looking for a hotel with good location and excellent value, this is a place worth considering.

Very near to the food centres strong smell of cigarettes and no complementary drinks given It's very convenient to get food and to MTR station.Would strongly recommend to those first time to HK. Easy to move around staying at this hotel and you tend to save a lot on transportation as it is located within walking distance.Family with chidren would find the location friendly as one can get children's food easily
Shopping Tip : wholesale shop which sells all kinds of items to tourists.

The hotel is located at the prominent shopping belt - tsim sha tsui MTR. The staff are friendly and rooms are clean. My son enjoyed the stay! Probably they should change the TV to a larger LCD TVs as the one we had was pretty small. We love the noodle shop just next to the hotel that is open 24 hours. Apart from this, there are also other food outlets. So it is very convenient for those who love the local food. Must try the tea/coffee hot drink.
Shopping Tip : Try shopping along Granville and cameron road... if you look around you may find some good buys.

The Hotel are very weel located near all the shopping areas. all kinds of restaurants and a 3 minutes walk to Shimsatshu Metro Station.
The Hotel are also equiped with all amenties and inland tour packages which are very useful to first time tourists.
The Hotel lacks of a coffee house which allows the guests to take a break for a drink after a long day shopping and walkings. I enjoyed my 5-days stays in this Hotel, especially the front desk staffs, they are very endurance, pleasant and helpful.
Also, the room are always available of complimentary 3-in-one coffee, especially I'm a coffee-holic. It will be a perfect budgetary Hotel if they have a coffee house or outdoor cafeteria over looking the crowds walking along the busy streets.
Definitely, I will be back again to this hotel next month for my family holiday.
Shopping Tip : And also the nearby King Lodge Restaurant serving the "siu long pau"

clean rooms This hotel is a good choice considering Hong Kong. The location is central, close distance to ferry and other commuting points. The areas has plenty of restaurants and local bars that provide activity in the night time. Though you can find better for same price at the hotel opposite the street, GDH hotel remain a sure value, if you do not mind looking into details as the hotel is old. I would not mind staying there another time thou.

Close to shopping center and bar.
Resonable price but no free breakfast. Poor reception or without well managing with hotel's staff.
Some staff not suppose to work with customer but they do. To be serious, you need more improvement with your people I was charge by the hotel for HKD1112 for 4 disstand water but the price show on the list (I asked reception to show me the price list) is 28HKD for quantity 2. Reception woman (I still remember er name but I don't wanna lose her job) ignore me like shit in front of her and finally, I have to pay all $$$ to her. VERY UPSET WITH HER.

Good housekeeping, security feels tight. No tea/coffee satchets in the room !!
TV image reception was not that good.
Bed was pushed against one side wall - so difficult for one person to get up during the night. This was our 2nd stay here.
We love the location, and the comfortable calm ambience. The room was of reasonable size and does not feel cramp for 2 person. Kettle and fridge in the room. Loves the "rain" option in the shower. Room feels very clean, and reception spoke English. They kept our luggages after checkout (till 5 pm) which is very convenient. If only they will offer bathing facility as well just before you make your way to the airport.
Will definitely stay here again.
Restaurant Tip : Directly opposite is Kai Kee Restaurant - fabulous food at a reasonable price.

good service, cleanliness and good locality of the hotel There is too many night activities around the hotel. Good service provided at the hotel. The hotel is overall clean and very comfortable throughout the duration of my stay. The good locality of the hotel allows us easy access to the nearby attractions, saving us on transport costs. Would consider the hotel when we travel to HongKong again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Nearby to shopping and F&B area, truly accessible.

Too bad for check-in time I stayed at this hotel many times, but this one is the worst time. They never have a flexible time to check-in, this time I have to check in at 3PM eventhough the check-in time is 2PM, I was so tired for waiting. I came HK at 10.00AM and have to outside until 3PM.
I cam in hotel to check in at 1.45PM but cannot be accepted. What a terrible for waiting time at this Hotel eventhough the price is can be acceptable.

Very convenience hotel location in Tsim Sha Tsui, Shopping Area. Nice hotel - very recommended hotel. This is my third time visiting Hong Kong for Shopping and this is my first time staying at Guangdong Hotel, Hong Kong for 2 nights. This hotel is located in a very convenience location in Tsim Sha Tsui area where you can find your shopping is easy. You can just a few minuites walk to use MTR. Nice and clean hotel, very friendly staffs. I highly recommended this hotel for your choice of stay if you have plan to visit Hong Kong and use Agodo internet booking to reserve on your accommodation with a resonable prize compare with plenty of hotel facilities provided.

the toilet and washing area need to be improved The Guangdong hotel is centally located in Tsim Sha Tsui and the accessibility for public transport especially MTR is convenient. Also, it is only 2 stations away going to Hong Kong island. The hotel vicinity has many choices of cafteria and eatery and some close at late hour. Also, it is walking distance to many retail outlets and shopping centres.
Restaurant Tip : Many restaurants, cafeteria and eateries around the hotel.

ALways goods for location In many times I stayed in this hotel, this is the first time I stay here with the very high price eventhough it is not costy like this. Too expensive for me to stay for one night.
However, the location is very very good for transportation, just need to take taxi 15min to go to Kowloon station.

very near the mtr station a cozy room a delicious dine in resto just beside my favorite vietnamese resto i like staying at guangdong hotel everytime i visit hongkong. its location is very near the places i frequently go esp it is very near the mtr stations. the bed and the beddings are clean and soft and the overall room is just very nice and comfortable to stay and surely you will have a good night sleep. it is really a must recommend hotel for friends and relatives!
Restaurant Tip : if your very fund of eating asian food, the vietnamese resto near guangdong hotel is a good place to eat.
